With an impressive 20-year career already under her belt, it's no surprise that the young star has built up an impressive property portfolio, using her wealth to flip houses across Los Angeles. With 332 million Instagram followers and a back catalogue of top-selling albums, the 30-year-old is estimated to be worth a staggering $85 million (£71m).

In July 2011, around the time of her 19th birthday, Gomez forked out for her first home—a purchase that would kick-start her real estate enterprise. Located in the Tarzana area of California's San Fernando Valley, the property cost the 'Rare' singer just under $2.2 million (£1.8m). After purchasing the pad, she set about modernising its interior, opting for a sleek and simple colour scheme complemented by luxury fixtures.

With several smash hit albums under her belt, the candid starlet is now worth a reported $160 million (£133m).

In 2015, when she was just 22 years old, Miley purchased her second home, after selling off the Toluca Lake estate where she spent her formative years. The property had been owned by the Cyrus family since May 2007, after they moved to the area when Miley was cast as Hannah Montana. With six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and seemingly endless living spaces for work, rest and play, the property was certainly big enough for Bieber and his entire entourage. Far from being a childish pad where the youngster could hang out with his friends, the property offers a sophisticated aesthetic, with plenty of gorgeous Mediterranean touches throughout. 

With rustic decor including exposed beams and grand fireplaces, the house was a little more traditional in style than you might expect for such a young owner. It had a luxurious entrance foyer, a library, a movie theatre with stadium seating, a wet bar, a wine cellar, three garages, an elevator and a games room. There was also an outdoor swimming pool, a large sunbathing deck, an alfresco dining patio and expansive lawns.

In 2014, at the tender age of 20, Bieber sold the palatial pad to Khloé Kardashian for an estimated $7.2 million (£6m), who has since sold it on for a reported $15 million (£12.5m). The original sale took place after Bieber had a very public row with his neighbour. The 'Intentions' singer now lives in a colossal $25.8 million (£21.4m) Beverly Hills mansion with his wife, Hailey Bieber, while also renting a huge condo at 195 Hudson Street in Tribeca, New York according to the NY Post—a building once inhabited by Beyonce and Jay Z, no less.

Singer, actor and now producer, Hilary Duff has had career success since she shot to fame with her role as Lizzie McGuire in 2001. Winning multiple accolades including seven Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and four Teen Choice Awards, the child star is now a mother of three whilst producing and starring in TV series, How I Met Your Father.

Now worth an impressive $25 million (£20.7m), the former child star knew where to invest her cash from an early age. Duff purchased this five-bedroom, six-bathroom Toluca Lake estate in July 2004 for $3.5 million (£2.9m) when she was just 17, before she could even legally order a cocktail.

Outside the nearly half-acre walled property, there is an outdoor living room and a beautiful swimming pool with spa. Duff sold the stunning estate in 2010 for slightly less than its asking price of $5.5 million (£4.57m) to designer Don Stanzione and Sheri Callan, owner of Callan Advertising, according to the LA Times.
