January: Sylvester Stallone's mega-mansion
Veteran actor Sylvester Stallone hit the big time when he appeared in the 1976 smash hit movie Rocky. Later, film franchises like Rambo and The Expendables made him a global superstar and bulked out his bank account with a reported $400 million (£300m). No stranger to luxurious properties, the actor has purchased and off-loaded a dazzling array of homes over the years, but one in particular really stands out, and it hit the market back in January 2021.

January: Sylvester Stallone's mega-mansion
Stallone bought this stunning Beverly Hills lot in 1998. The glitzy home can be found inside an exclusive VIP enclave and is situated behind a gated driveway at the end of a cul-de-sac, allowing for plenty of privacy. Offering no end of luxurious features, the 21,000-square-foot mansion also benefits from unobstructed city views. Oh, and did we mention that the pad could be among the most expensive American homes ever?

January: Sylvester Stallone's mega-mansion
The home's interior might not be quite what you'd expect. Vibrant and eclectic, every room has been meticulously designed, resulting in an array of stunning living spaces. The lavish mansion comes complete with eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a formal lounge, two powder rooms and a chef's kitchen, as well as everything amenity a VIP could need. There's a state-of-the-art gym, a screening room and a stunning cigar room with its very own air-filtration system.

January: Sylvester Stallone's mega-mansion
Elsewhere, Stallone's master suite boasts a sauna, steam room and a barrel-vaulted office. Outside, there are endless sunbathing patios, an air-conditioned eight-car garage, a putting green and an infinity pool overlooking the city. In January 2021, the Hollywood star placed the property on the market for a staggering $110 million (£83m), before lowering the price to a slightly more reasonable $85 million (£64m). Proving hard to sell, the house is still on the market right now.

February: John Travolta's Maine island estate
Musical legend John Travolta has been gracing our screens since the 1970s and has starred in some of the most iconic movies of all time, including Pulp Fiction, Grease and Saturday Night Fever. The Oscar-nominated actor is thought to be worth $250 million (£188m) and he's used his wealth to snap up an array of stunning residences. In February 2021, the star decided to part ways with a sprawling island retreat in Maine, that he'd owned for two decades.

February: John Travolta's Maine island estate
The enviable island hideaway can be found off the coast of Maine and was bought by John and his late wife, Kelly Preston, in 1991. At the time, the pair were newlyweds and the purchase was their first as a married couple. The perfect place to escape the drama of Hollywood, the retreat spans 10,830 square feet and boasts a colourful and cosy interior that has been meticulously curated by Travolta and Preston over the years.

February: John Travolta's Maine island estate
Built in 1903, the waterfront home benefits from plenty of classic architectural details, including rustic stone fireplaces, gilded light fixtures, Tudor Revival sash windows and characterful timber trims. Every room is lined with damask and velvet upholstery, as well as cottage décor that was partly influenced by the home's coastal setting. There's a snug living room, a formal dining room, a chef's kitchen, 20 bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

February: John Travolta's Maine island estate
The master suite, with its vibrant colour scheme and opulent furnishings, certainly offers a unique spot to unwind. As well as swathes of windows, the space comes with an ensuite, a walk-in wardrobe, fireplace and jaw-dropping views. Nestled on 48 acres of land, the estate is moments from Sabbathday Harbor and offers idyllic woodland trails, a swimming pool and beach access. Travolta listed his life-long home in February 2021 for $5 million (£3.8m) and it was later reduced to just over $4.2 million (£3.2m) before being removed from the market.
March: Tom Cruise's secluded Colorado ranch
Known for his blockbuster roles, high-profile relationships and his affiliation with the Church of Scientology, Tom Cruise has a reported net worth of $600 million (£450m), making him one of the richest stars in the world. So it's no wonder that he has built up an impressive property portfolio over the years, including a stunning secluded ranch in Colorado, which he decided to off-load in March 2021.

The property hit the market for a cool $39.5 million (£29.7m) and within a month it had found a new buyer. Spanning an impressive 320 acres, the rural estate offered the Mission: Impossible star privacy, seclusion and, of course, spectacular scenery. Cruise purchased the plot in Telluride in the early 1990s and spent several years building the property to his exacting tastes.

March: Tom Cruise's secluded Colorado ranch
The ultra-private home is surrounded by national forest land and lies close to the area's ski slopes and golf courses, making it perfect for a wealthy VIP. The 10,000-square-foot residence was also the setting of Cruise's 2008 interview with Oprah Winfrey, and where he captured the first images of his daughter Suri, so the property clearly holds a very special place in the actor's heart – and it’s really no wonder. Every room boasts vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling fireplaces and alpine vistas.

March: Tom Cruise's secluded Colorado ranch
Constructed from bleached cedar timbers and native stone, the four-bedroom pad is jam-packed full of lavish home features, including a fitness centre, a state-of-the-art security system, a games room, a snowmelt system, a wet bar and underfloor heating throughout. In addition to the main house, there's also a separate three-bedroom lodge, where Cruise no doubt hosted plenty of A-list guests over the years.
April: Bette Midler's Manhattan penthouse
Singer, songwriter and actress Bette Midler has been in the limelight for five decades and during her career, she's received numerous accolades, including four Golden Globes and two Tony Awards, as well as Oscar and BAFTA nominations. Today, the Hocus Pocus star is thought to be worth $250 million (£188m), so she clearly has money to spare for luxurious homes. In April 2021, we were offered a glimpse into her private life, when her impressive New York City penthouse hit the market once again.
April: Bette Midler's Manhattan penthouse
The stunning penthouse was relisted for $50 million (£38m) – Midler first attempted to sell the triplex back in 2019 but it was later removed before being listed again for the exact same price. With a huge 7,000-square-foot interior, the plush apartment occupies the building's 15th,16th and 17th floors. Midler bought the pad in 1996, for a mere $3.5 million (£2.6m).
April: Bette Midler's Manhattan penthouse
The home's regal living spaces sit on the middle level and boast floor-to-ceiling windows, some of which frame views of Central Park, while glass doors open up to private patios or courtyards. There's a modern country-style kitchen and dining room, complete with a wraparound balcony, a library with walls of built-in bookshelves and six beautiful bedrooms.
April: Bette Midler's Manhattan penthouse
The master suite is the perfect sanctuary for a VIP and occupies its very own dedicated corner of the penthouse. Featuring large picture windows and an adjacent dressing room with a cosy wood-burning fireplace, the bedroom also benefits from stunning skyscraper views. May: Tristan Thompson's Encino mansion
In May 2021, NBA superstar Tristan Thompson decided to wave goodbye to his stunning Encino mansion, after signing a $19 million (£14.2m) deal with the Boston Celtics. At the time, he stated he would be splitting his time between Boston and Los Angeles, where his on-again off-again girlfriend Khloe Kardashian and their young daughter, True, reside.
May: Tristan Thompson's Encino mansion
Saying goodbye to his Encino mansion was likely a tough decision to make for Thompson. Spacious, stylish and overflowing with jaw-dropping features, the palatial property is every bit as glamorous as you might expect. Thompson bought the house in 2019 for $6.5 million (£4.9m) and less than two years later, he placed a $7.9 million (£5.9m) price tag on the 9,864-square-foot residence.
May: Tristan Thompson's Encino mansion
The modern farmhouse was constructed in 2018 and is immaculately presented throughout. It offers seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a grand entryway with a double-height ceiling and checkered marble flooring, a dining room, a gourmet kitchen and a formal living room with its own private patio. May: Tristan Thompson's Encino mansion

In 2020, business magnate and Tesla CEO Elon Musk shocked the world when he announced he would be selling off his entire property portfolio to focus solely on the SpaceX mission to Mars. The billionaire businessman, who Forbes states is worth a mind-blowing $245 billion (£184bn) at the time of writing, began selling off his homes last year, but his final piece of real estate hit the market in June 2021 for a cool $37.5 million (£28m). June: Elon Musk’s historic estate
Stunning and sprawling in equal measure, the mansion can be found on one of the biggest parcels of land on the desirable San Francisco Peninsula in California. The billionaire's home boasts grand proportions and incredible living spaces, adorned with ornate stained glass, black and white chequerboard floors, antique furnishings, vaulted ceilings and marble fireplaces. Built in 1916, the 10-bedroom, six-bathroom residence combines historic architecture with modern luxuries.
June: Elon Musk’s historic estate
The jaw-dropping home spreads over 16,000 square feet and there's no shortage of elegant living spaces for entertaining, relaxing and working. There's a ballroom, a formal banquet room and even a flower-arranging room, just in case. Elsewhere, elegant wood-panelled walls frame the home's impressive library, complete with built-in bookshelves, a moulded ceiling and French doors that open out onto the estate's swimming pool.
June: Elon Musk’s historic estate
The home's main kitchen has been sensitively updated while remaining true to its period roots. Elsewhere, the 47-acre estate comes with access to hiking trails, canyons and a reservoir. The garden even offers a custom-made pond, a carport, a three-car garage and a motor court, which no doubt came in very handy for the Tesla co-founder! The palatial property sold in December 2021 for $30 million (£22.5m), meanwhile Musk is renting a modest tiny home worth around $50,000 (£38k) at his SpaceX base in Texas.

July: Michelle Pfeiffer's Pacific Palisades mansion
Michelle Pfeiffer has enjoyed an impressive career in Hollywood, starring in movies including Scarface and Batman Returns. The star is now thought to be worth $250 million (£188m) and is married to another A-lister, producer David E. Kelley, the man behind Nine Perfect Strangers and Big Little Lies. Together, the pair has pocketed plenty of cash flipping homes across the United States. Let's take a look at one of their finest achievements...
July: Michelle Pfeiffer's Pacific Palisades mansion
Pfeiffer and Kelley bought this dreamy Pacific Palisades mansion in January 2020, a year after it was built, for just under $22.3 million (£16.7m). Then, in July 2021, the couple placed the pad up for sale for $25 million (£18.8m) and it sold after less than a month on the market. The custom-built mansion spans an impressive 10,329 square feet and despite its age, boasts plenty of characterful features, such as rustic beams, vaulted ceilings and antique carved stone fireplaces.
July: Michelle Pfeiffer's Pacific Palisades mansion
Known as the Napoli House, the property was designed by architect Steve Giannetti and offers a huge open-plan lounge, a kitchen, library, formal dining room, seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. There's even a luxurious basement with a climate-controlled wine cellar, a tasting room and a state-of-the-art movie theatre, as well as an art studio with its own outside entrance.
July: Michelle Pfeiffer's Pacific Palisades mansion
Many of the interior spaces flow out gently into the garden, where living areas, sunbathing patios and a swimming pool can be found. Grounded by a carved stone fireplace that appears plucked from a French villa, the master suite spills out onto a glass-railed patio with unobstructed golf course views.

August: Pamela Anderson’s Malibu beach house
Actress and model Pamela Anderson hit the big time when she landed a role on the iconic TV show, Baywatch. Today, Anderson spends her time fighting for animal rights and has worked with the likes of PETA and Climate Revolution. With a fortune estimated to be around $20 million (£15m), the A-lister flies slightly under the radar these days, but her Malibu beach house is anything but ordinary.
August: Pamela Anderson’s Malibu beach house
In August 2021, Anderson waved goodbye to this stunning beach house in Malibu, California, offloading it for a cool $11.8 million (£8.9m). The star made a killing on the pad, since she picked it up in 2000 for a mere $1.8 million (£1.4m), highlighting how quickly the property market has boomed in certain celebrity hotspots. Anderson gave the home a complete refresh in 2013, working with architect Philip Vertoch and interior designer, Josh Chryssanthou.

Sitting behind private gates, the modern home offers 2,752 square feet of interior space and, of course, every single room is chic and stylish. August: Pamela Anderson’s Malibu beach house
Head up the floating staircase and you'll find the stunning master suite with a large custom-lit closet and a dry sauna. Another set of steps leads out to an upper deck, where awe-inspiring ocean views can be savoured. Elsewhere outside there's a pool with a bar, numerous entertaining spaces and a guesthouse. Realtor suggested Anderson had sold the home and moved back to Vancouver Island with her husband Dan Hayhurst to renovate a waterfront home she's owned for a long time.

September: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' Beverly Hills estate
With a combined net worth of around $275 million (£208m), Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are one seriously impressive celebrity couple. The pair met on the set of That '70s Show back in 1998, playing an on-screen couple, but they didn't start dating in real life until 2012. The acting duo married in 2015 and have two children together – as well as a host of stunning properties. In September 2021, they decided to move on from their Beverly Hills estate.
September: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' Beverly Hills estate
Kutcher and Kunis first attempted to sell the pad in June 2020, asking $14 million (£10.5m). They even tried to rent it out for a cool $49,000 (£37k) a month, but didn't seem to find any takers. After removing the home from the market, it was back on in September 2021, this time for just less than $12.3 million (£9.2m). Now, it could be yours for a mere $11.3 million (£8.5m).
September: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' Beverly Hills estate
The couple is thought to have picked up the property in 2014 for $10.2 million (£7.7m), shortly after becoming engaged. Built in 1999, the luxurious home sits inside the guard-gated community of Hidden Valley in the Santa Monica Mountains. Spanning 7,351 square feet, it boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms and plenty of lush living spaces filled with natural light and chic architectural details. There's even a temperature-controlled wine room, a sauna, gym and guest suite.
September: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' Beverly Hills estate
Outside, the estate comes with over half an acre of land, including a landscaped lawn, swimming pool and covered patio equipped with an outdoor kitchen, bar and dining zone. Kutcher and Kunis now live in a custom-built sustainable farmhouse, located on a hilltop site above Los Angeles.

Despite being just 28 years old, pop star Ariana Grande is thought to be worth $200 million (£150m). Having spent time living in Beverly Hills, Toluca Lake and her hometown of Florida, the 'Thank U, Next' singer has accumulated an incredible collection of jaw-dropping homes. She also seems to be following in the footsteps of many other celebrities, picking up palatial properties and flipping them for a quick buck.
October: Ariana Grande's hillside mansion
In June 2020, Ariana Grande snapped up this hillside mansion above the iconic Sunset Strip. Constructed in 2018, the contemporary crib cost her $13.7 million (£10.3m) and by October 2021, Ariana was ready to move on. She sold the 10,000-square-foot home for exactly $14 million (£10.5m), making a sweet little profit.

Pharrell bought the home back in 2015 for just under $7.2 million (£5.4m) and it isn't difficult to see what drew him to the pad. Designed by renowned architect Hazy Belzberg, the house was built in 2007 and offers 6,100 square feet of inside space.

In March 2021, the celebrity duo shelled out $22.7 million (£17m) for this period estate in the celebrity hot spot of Montecito, California. Designed in 1923 by renowned architect George Washington Smith, the historic home comes with a detached five-car garage topped with a guest apartment, and two additional guest cottages. Step through the front door of the main residence and you'll be greeted by stunning living areas with soaring ceilings, rustic beams, terracotta floor tiles and arched windows.
December: Adam Levine's Montecito estate
The interior encompasses nine bedrooms and 11 bathrooms across its 12,653-square-foot floor plan.
