Rihanna
Set to light up the Super Bowl half time stage in 2023, billionaire Barbadian Rihanna has an illustrious music career under her belt alongside an impressive property portfolio up her sleeve. She’s also quite the property flipper, with one particular residence recently hitting the rental market. Let’s take a look around the busy Fenty entrepreneur's homes…
Rihanna's Barbados beach house
While Riri spends a lot of her time in Beverly Hills, the Barbados native decided to return to her home town in Christmas 2012 to rent out a luxury villa in the One Sandy Lane resort. The following year she decided to splash out on the beautiful mansion—snapping it up for $22 million (£18m) in October 2013. With five ensuite bedrooms hosting their own private terrace and dressing room, the 'Umbrella' singer’s Barbados property also boasts it own chauffeur, 24-hour concierge, gardener and private chef.

The opulent beach house, complete with lavish interiors and beautiful vistas, also hosts a private swimming pool, state-of-the-art gymnasium and manicured gardens. We’re sure she enjoys taking in the sea air from multiple luxury balconies, framed by curving columns offering the creme de la creme in alfresco dining.
Rihanna's Beverly Hills manor
While not tending to her multiple businesses from cosmetics to lingerie, new baby son and much-anticipated yet ever-elusive new album R9, Rihanna has been adding to her impressive property collection. With neighbours including Madonna and Sir Paul McCartney, Rihanna snapped up this expansive five-bedroom Beverly Hills estate in early 2021 with rapper bae A$AP Rocky for $13.8 million (£11.3m).

However, not long after purchasing the 1930s residence RiRi placed her new pad on the rental market for a not-so-modest $80,000 (£65.6k) monthly rate. Inside you’ll find a wealth of contemporary fixtures and features that have modernised the manor with marble worktops and French white oak hardwood floors alongside monochrome furnishings and a mix of brass and stainless steel accents throughout.

Should you have a spare $80,000 (£65.6k) a month, you could enjoy Rihanna’s luxury amenities from the custom, walk-in wardrobes and extravagant primary bathroom suite with standalone bathtub as well as multiple outdoor spaces including a wet bar, firepit, pool and your own spa. But who lives next door?
Rihanna's next door Beverly Hills home
Not three months after purchasing her Beverly Hills manor, the 'Rude Boy' hitmaker reportedly splashed out a further $10 million (£8.2m) on the Tudor-style house next door in April 2021. This private, gated home was also built in the 1930s and boasts four bedrooms across 3,500 square foot of living space. Stretching across over an acre of land, RiRi has access to multiple spacious patios, with a convenient built-in barbecue area and of course, her own swimming pool.

Dramatic, vaulted wood ceilings play host to a Medieval-esque chandelier in the formal living room, where large floor-to-ceiling windows cast plentiful Californian sun across the plush space. Elsewhere you’ll find a primary bedroom with access to a romantic, wrought-iron balcony with garden views. We wonder where’s next for the property-loving billionaire…

50 Cent
Curtis James Jackson III, also known as 50 Cent, has amassed a net worth of $40 million (£32m) according to Celebrity Net Worth since hitting the music scene in 2003. After an early life plagued by crime and drugs, he rocketed to stardom with his second album Get Rich or Die Tryin', after his first album was never heard by the public as he was shot days before its planned release. He has since gone on to win one Grammy and 13 Billboard Music Awards.
50 Cent's unsellable house
In 2003, 50 Cent bought this mansion in Connecticut from former champion boxer Mike Tyson for $4.1 million (£3.4m), following the success of his album release. Built in 1985 for Benjamin Sisti, the founder of Colonial Realty Co., according to Forbes, the rapper spent upwards of $6 million (£4.9m) renovating the home, before he attempted to sell it.
50 Cent's unsellable house
With a huge 52 rooms, the home sits on 17 acres of land and boasts 21 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms alone. It also features a whole host of amazing amenities including a nightclub, an indoor court, a number of games rooms, a green screen room and a recording studio.

However, a property like this doesn't come cheap and the rapper spent a small monthly fortune on the property, with the house costing him a reported $70,000 (£57k) a month in taxes and utility bills. We aren't surprised with its colossal size and lavish room, such as this marble-floored dining room.
50 Cent's unsellable house
In 2007, Curtis put the home on the market for $18.5 million (£15.1m), which was then slashed to just $5 million (£4.1m) by 2018. More than a decade later in 2019, the home eventually sold for just $2.9 million (£2.4m), which was a huge loss for the star.

The four-bedroom house had four bathrooms, a hot tub and pool in the backyard, and views out over 1.62 acres of private land full of luxury features making it an ideal residence to recover in after a high profile Super Bowl performance. But what about rumours of the rapper’s digital mansion?

Snoop Dogg's virtual realty
Not content with a real-life mansion, Snoop Dogg is also building an exact replica in The Sandbox NFT metaverse. Gaming virtual world, The Sandbox announced their partnership with the Super Bowl star, where Snoop now owns virtual land to set up his mansion. A virtual real estate investor (and assumed Snoop Dogg fan) has bought neighbouring plot for a whopping $450,000 (£369k). The sale of ‘metaverse plots’ are continuing to reach six figures, in the form of NFT and on platforms like OpenSea.

Mary J Blige
Currently worth $20 million (£16.4m), American singer-songwriter and actress Mary J Blige is our next Super Bowl star home. One of the biggest acts of the 1990s, she has released over a dozen studio albums to date, blending R&B, hip hop, and mainstream pop to achieve 50+ million album sales in the US alone and 80 million worldwide. But she also faced her fair share of money troubles over the years...
Mary J Blige's Cresskill, New Jersey mansion
The singer purchased this Cresskill, New Jersey mansion for just under $2 million (£1.6m) in 2001 and, despite its attractive facade, she has spent years trying to sell it. With six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, the 7,000-square-foot house also features three fireplaces, a gym, an office, and guest quarters. The backyard hosts a large deck overlooking the nearby swimming pool, ideal for post-performance dips. Despite multiple relistings, the house is still currently on sale with Sotheby’s International Realty, yet to find its new owner.

Mary J Blige's Saddle River, New Jersey mansion
Another Blige mansion that reportedly proved difficult to sell was this huge French-style mansion in Saddle River, New Jersey. Built in 2005, the Super Bowl songstress purchased the 13,856-square-foot house with eight bedrooms and 13 bathrooms for $12.3 million (£10m) in 2008, but has spent the last 10 years trying to sell it.

The pop star’s former abode also boasts its own pool house and pool, which can be viewed from Blige’s top floor master suite. Although initially listed for $13 million (£10.6m) in 2015, the Saddle River residence sold for $5.5 million (£4.8m) in 2020. Mary shared her thoughts on the traditionally unpaid Super Bowl gig on The Cruz Show: "Listen, they don’t have to pay me but if they was paying, it’d be a lot of money. But I’m good... You’re going to be paid for the rest of your life off of this. This is major, it’s an opportunity of a lifetime!"

Eminem
Perhaps the most hotly anticipated Super Bowl appearance was by the Detroit-raised rapper, Eminem AKA Marshall Bruce Mathers. Since becoming a household name in 1997 with his debut hip hop album Slim Shady, he has amassed 15 Grammy Awards, sold millions of records and even won an Oscar for Best Original Song, 'Lose Yourself' in 2003. Currently worth $230 million (£188m), where has the successful star called home?

Serving as his primary residence is this 8,900 square-foot home in Clinton Township, Michigan purchased by the star in September 2000 for a relatively modest $1,483,500 (£1.2m). Built in 1996, the grand home features a large driveway with fountain. But what about his so-called former ‘Kmart Mansion’?

Eminem's Rochester mansion
Eminem also owned another Detroit mansion in Rochester for 14 years. Bought in 2003 for $4.8 million (£3.9m), the 17,000-square-foot house was listed in August 2017 for just under $2 million (£1.6m), selling in September 2017. Why is it known as the Kmart Mansion? According to reports, its former owner was Charles Conaway, the previous chairman of Kmart.

Dr Dre
Next up is rap royalty and Beats CEO, Dr Dre (AKA Brickhard or The Mechanic). The rapper and producer began his career as a member of the World Class Wreckin' Cru in 1985 before finding notoriety with the gangsta rap group N.W.A. Born in Compton, California, and currently worth $500 million (£409m) where does the Super Bowl megastar live now?
Dr Dre's Brentwood mansion
Here sits Dre's current mansion in Brentwood, LA which he purchased in 2014. Although the asking price was more towards $50 million (£41m), the record producer managed to snap up the faux French chateau for $40 million (£32m). Appropriately for Super Bowl night, the sprawling estate was built by Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.
Dr Dre's Brentwood mansion
Spanning four acres of land, the Brentwood mansion has five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a whopping seven fireplaces, media room and library, fully equipped gym and sauna, plus a study (for totting up his royalties we assume). An infinity pool also awaits, with its own sunbeds and terraced area complete with koi pond and moat.
Dr Dre's Sunset Strip mansion
According to reports, Dre and his wife Nicole Threatt purchased this modern Sunset Strip mansion in 2011 for $15,400,000 (£12.6m). They later listed the property on the open market in 2014 with an asking price of $35 million (£28.7m).

Situated in Birds Street above the Sunset Strip, this particular gated abode was rebuilt in 2001. Featuring six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and at least five fireplaces, the mansion also hosts staff quarters and a guest house. What’s more, the rapper’s former pad featured its own swimming pool (of course) ideal for visualising music videos.
Dr Dre's longtime Malibu beach house
Not content with just two mansions along the Pacific Coast, the Beats entrepreneur was also the longtime owner of this Californian estate found on Carbon Beach, Malibu beloved by billionaires. Originally snapped up by Dre in 2000 for approximately $4.8 million (£3.9m), the three-storey manse is now on the market for a profitable $20 million (£16.4m). But why did the rapper decide to sell up now?
Dr Dre's longtime Malibu beach house
With vast entertaining rooms, incredible ocean views from floor-to-ceiling glass walls, sauna and recording studio built in, it’s surprising that D.R.E. would want to part with his impressive holiday home. However, since his rather expensive divorce from Nicole Young to the tune of a reported $100 million (£82.1m), the record producer is possibly looking to regain some disposable cash. It is said that he still owns the marital homes, including his Brentwood estate and two Calabasas mansions.

The private star has kept the interior of his home off the internet and social media, so there are no pictures. It is reported that the Manhattan Beach mansion has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms as well as a three-car garage. A wraparound terrace and plethora of windows allow for stunning views.
Kendrick Lamar's Calabasas family home
Although the MC star doesn’t live here himself, Lamar snapped up this almost $2.7 million (£2.2m) investment property in the upscale Calabasas suburb of Los Angeles for his parents and sister to inhabit. The 5,400-square-foot mansion boasts a beautiful ivy-covered entrance way within a guard-gated community.
