Inside the supermodel's homes
From reality star to catwalk favourite, Kendall Jenner has carved out a formidable career for herself as an international supermodel. While she’s nowhere near as wealthy as her sisters Kim and Kylie (in fact she's joint last when it comes to wealth amongst the Kardashian-Jenner sisters), The Kardashians star is one of the highest-paid models on the planet and has an estimated net worth of $60 million (£49m). The eldest daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner knows a thing about the property market too, so click or scroll to find out more….

Where does Kendall Jenner live?
First appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2007, when she was just 11, Kendall Jenner has lived most of her life in the limelight but seems more guarded about her personal life than her sisters. She’s also a tad more modest when it comes to the size of her property portfolio. The stunner has flipped a few properties, including her West Hollywood starter home, and currently lives in a Spanish-style villa in Beverly Hills, which she bought in 2017. But where did it all begin for Kendall?

Kendall Jenner’s childhood
Kendall Jenner was born on 3 November 1995. The second youngest child of the family, she was born to Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, who won a gold medal in the decathlon in the 1976 Olympics. She grew up in the wealthy suburbs of Los Angeles with her sister Kylie, half-sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney and half-brother Rob.
Keeping up with the Kardashians
Kendall Jenner was an impressionable pre-teen when Keeping Up With The Kardashians hit our screens in October 2007. Although she had a much lower profile than her elder sisters in the show, her ambition to be a model and her rise to the top in the fashion world was documented in the reality series, which ended in 2021. Hulu’s revamped version of the show The Kardashians was released in April 2022 and Kendall has continued to be involved.
Where did Kendall Jenner grow up?
Although now wealthy beyond their wildest dreams, the family were already doing pretty well for themselves when the girls were growing up. Kris and her athlete husband bought this four-bedroom home in the Hidden Hills area of California for $2.85 million (£2.2m) in 2006, when Kris was already in talks about producing a reality show starring her family, which started the following year.
Kendall Jenner's childhood home
Built in 1964, the one-storey abode boasted walnut hardwood floors and open-beam ceilings. The living room, seen here, leads through to the dining room and although the furnishings are quite different to that of Kendall’s present home, there’s a cosiness to the décor that she still embraces to this day.
The original Kardashian house
The 3,966-square-foot home featured in the first few seasons of the show and has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Kendall’s mother Kris was often seen cooking for her children in this gourmet kitchen with its centre island and granite countertops. While most of her sisters employ private chefs in their homes these days, Kendall still enjoys cooking herself as we'll see later on.
The Kardashian-Jenners move on
The charming home featured a walk-out veranda and an old-fashioned pool surrounded by a flagstone sun terrace. But the family quickly outgrew the property and listed the house for $3.4 million £2.8m) in 2008, according to the Los Angeles Times, moving on to the more extravagant home we all grew to know and love in the TV series.
The Kardashian family home
Kendall’s parents bought the famous Kardashian home that would provide the backdrop to many memorable scenes in the show for $4 million (£3.1m) in 2010. Located in Hidden Hills like their previous home, the house is known for its checkerboard-tiled hallway where the Kardashian-Jenners staged many of their impromptu photoshoots and family photos.
Playful decor
Although many episodes of the show were filmed inside the property, a fake house was used for exterior shots to keep unwanted intruders out. Kris Jenner worked with designer Jeff Andrews to spruce up the interior, creating this glamourous TV room with its playful neon sign above the fireplace. Something Kendall copied in her newest home. She still owns the house but her son Rob now lives there with his daughter Dream from his relationship with Blac Chyna.

Where did Kendall Jenner go to school?
With the family's fame forever growing, the teenage Kendall attended Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles until 2012, when she and her sister Kylie signed up with a private tutor to be home-schooled aged 16 and 14 respectively. The sisters launched their first solo project in the form of a clothing line called Kendall + Kylie for the Californian company, PacSun, the same year and meanwhile, Kendall was making a name for herself in modelling….

Kendall Jenner's modelling career
Having started her modelling career at the age of 14, Kendall landed many high-profile campaigns, including with Calvin Klein and Victoria’s Secret, walking in the company’s fashion show in 2015 and 2016. With her earnings, she set her sights on owning her first home...
Kendall Jenner's chic starter home
Kendall ventured onto the property market, purchasing a chic condo tucked inside an exclusive high-rise apartment block, The Wilshire in Westwood, Los Angeles. Bought in 2014 for a reported $1.4 million (£1m), the building had a 24-hour valet, a concierge and doorman and a heated swimming pool and fitness centre. Here in the living room, Kendall opted for a large pristinely white couch and plenty of art on the walls, something she's become known for in her decorating taste.

With extensive windows, the 2,068-square-foot corner apartment would have offered Kendall a bird's-eye view across the city. There were also two contemporary bedrooms, three luxurious bathrooms, a bright open-plan lounge, a dining area, a designer kitchen and office space, the cool condo was the perfect first property for the young socialite.

Offering a crisp colour scheme, modern furnishings, high ceilings and hardwood floors throughout, the property was well and truly fit for an up-and-coming supermodel. The kitchen was kitted out with high-end Sub-Zero and Viking appliances, and the entire apartment had wraparound windows, while outside there was a sculpture garden for those moments of quiet reflection.

The model had already moved on by the time she sold the apartment in 2017 for an estimated $1.6 million (£1.3m), leaving behind this master suite with its luxurious huge walk-in wardrobe. The deal took place around the same time Forbes named her the world's highest-paid model, a crown Gisele Bündchen had worn since 2002. Kendall’s partnership with Adidas also sealed her reputation as a fashion icon, but she went on to even bigger and better places as she climbed the property ladder...
Kendall Jenner's party pad
One of Kendall's purchases was the West Hollywood home formerly owned by Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, which she bought for $6.5 million (£5.1m) in 2016. The mid-century brick-and-glass home was nestled at the end of a gated drive right off Sunset Strip and had six bedrooms and five bathrooms. Plenty of space to party with her supermodel friends.

The open-plan living room featured a double-sided fireplace that divided it from the dining room. There was an open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, an adjoining family room, a bar, a media room and a gym. However, her 'momager' Kris was against the purchase because she felt it wasn’t secure and private enough for her famous daughter.

Designed for entertaining, the dining room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, opened out to an extensive alfresco living space with views across LA. There was a stunning two-level roof deck for impromptu parties, as well as an outdoor kitchen and fireplace, where she could kick back and relax with her celebrity friends when the nights got chilly.

There was also a pool and sun deck outside, shaded by mature trees. But the model was forced to sell the property a year later in 2017 due to stalking and burglary, according to TMZ. Her mom was right! The star sold the three-storey home for $6.85 million (£5.3m), according to The New York Post to marketing mogul Bill Guthy, who then listed it in 2021 for $8.5 million (£6.7m).

Next up was this gorgeous Spanish-style villa in Beverly Hills, which Kendall still calls home. She bought the property from Platoon actor Charlie Sheen in October 2017 for $8.6 million (£6.7m) and former neighbours include Christina Aguilera and DJ Khaled. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home is set behind huge gates and is far more private than her previous abode.

Jenner called on the design credentials of mother-and-son team Kathleen and Tommy Clements to transform the property into a serene living space. The home has several luxurious rooms, including this family room with its statement fireplace seen here before Kendall got to redecorating it. The rustic home has exposed beamed ceilings and hardwood and terracotta floors throughout, which highlight the property's Mediterranean vibe. Kendall kept those main features but modernised the space as you'll see next...

In an Instagram post from Waldo Fernandez, an interior designer and celebrity decorator for Architectural Digest praises the beautiful work of Kathleen and Tommy Clements, who worked with Kendall to achieve this stunning and relaxed version of the living room. Warm tones and plenty of comfortable seating by an open fire show just how much Kendall enjoys her time away from the catwalk. "My life involves a lot of chaos and travel and high energy, so I wanted a home that feels serene, a place where I can simply zone out and relax," she said when speaking to Architectural Digest.

The model revealed to Architectural Digest that her favourite room in the house is the kitchen, which has forest-green cabinets, marble countertops, a farmhouse sink and brass fittings. "This kitchen just makes me want to cook and bake," she said. Note the country-style brass pot filler over the stove and dark wood kitchen island.

With such a hectic life, Kendall has made sure that her bedroom is a haven of peace and serenity. Neutral and earthy tones take precedence, while the tactile textiles – from the antique Persian rug to the creamy furry armchair – add warmth and a sense of calm. All in all, it’s enough to send you off to sleep!

But not before you've taken your make-up off! As you might expect from a supermodel and former ambassador for Estée Lauder, Kendall has a dedicated glam room in her Beverly Hills home. Dubbed the "Hannah Montana room", copies of her many magazine covers are displayed on the walls (an idea she borrowed from sister Kim), and there's a Hollywood-style vanity mirror with old-school light bulbs.

Just like the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kendall is massively into interior design and her personal bathroom is arguably the most opulent room in the house with its lavish gold freestanding tub that set her back more than $40,000 (£31.5k), according to the Daily Mail. Nothing like a good soak after a long day on the catwalk!

Kendall also clearly loves a bold art piece as she shared her dining room set up ready for hosting. Sharing the snap to her Instagram with a simple heart emoji caption, the bold oil canvas is by artist Alex Katz, entitled 'Coca-Cola Girl 45'. Elsewhere in the house Kendall also has pieces by Tracy Emin and photographer Lauren Greenfield, plus a print of William Klein’s 'Hat and Five Roses', which he shot for Vogue in 1956. Appropriate considering Kendall's love of fashion.

In fact, as soon as you enter Kendall's home you're greeted by unique artworks. This glowing colourful light sculpture made from glass and designed by world-famous artist James Turrell hangs in her hallway. Similar pieces from the revered California artist's 'Glass' series are valued at a whopping $500,000 (£409k) to $750,000 (£614k), according to Artsy.

When she's not gazing at her art, Kenall is a big believer in finding peace in nature. This bubbling pool of water in her yard is somewhere she goes to unwind, sharing a video of it on Instagram captioning that she likes: "Finding ways to help me start my day off with a calmer, more positive mindset." Kendall also uses Tibetan singing bowls as a way to relax.

The property also has a pool Kendall can swim in too, with spa facilities, a firepit and covered terrace, which offer an ideal location for hosting al-fresco A-list parties. There’s also a large backyard with a children’s playground that's bound to have elevated her to “favourite aunt” status among the expanding Kardashian-Jenner brood.
Trying her luck at property flipping
With all her sisters making a fortune in real estate, Kendall decided to try her hand at property flipping in season two of The Kardashians, teaming up with her friend Kai, who knows something about the business. As well as making a few bucks, she felt it would be a way to express her creative side, since modelling gives her little scope artistically. "When I walk into a house, my wheels just kind of start turning," she said in episode four.

Future moves
As for the future, Kendall revealed in an interview with WSJ Magazine that she plans to leave Los Angeles when it’s time to start her own family. She is the only one of her siblings not to have any children, but has no plans to be a mum any time soon. The model is currently dating rapper Bad Bunny, but the pair, who were first spotted out together in February 2023, have been tight-lipped about their relationship. Sounds serious. They’ll be house-hunting before we know it…
