Jennifer Lopez
With an estimated net worth of $400 million (£320m) and a career spanning more than three decades, singer, actress and entrepreneur J.Lo hardly needs an introduction.
Born into a Puerto Rican family in the Bronx, New York, she started out as a dancer before quickly finding fame in the 1997 movie Selena, in which she played Mexican singer Selena Quintanilla.
Despite a few high-profile break-ups, J.Lo's star power continues to shine bright thanks to a string of hit songs, movies and TV shows – not to mention her enviable property portfolio.

Jennifer Lopez's oceanfront home, Florida, USA
J.Lo bought this stunning waterfront home in Florida for $9.5 million in 2002, which is around $16.6 million (£13.3m) in today's money. It stands among the dense greenery of the scenic Biscayne Bay and has breathtaking views over the water and the Miami skyline.
The lush 1.5-acre (0.6ha) estate hides a private dock, a gazebo, a pool, a 6,000-gallon (27,276l) koi pond and outdoor entertaining spaces among the trees, creating a perfectly private paradise for the 'Waiting for Tonight' singer to retreat to.

Jennifer Lopez's oceanfront home: grand scale
The 10,800-square-foot (1,003sqm) Mediterranean villa has been remodelled since J.Lo owned it, but at the time it had eight bedrooms and 11 fireplaces – which seems extreme considering Miami's heat and humidity. After marrying Marc Anthony in 2004, J.Lo moved with him to Long Island, New York and sold this palatial pad a year later for $13.9 million, the equivalent of $22.3 million (£17.9m) today.

Jennifer Lopez's oceanfront home: controversial past
The next owners gave the house an $11 million (£8.8m) revamp and sold it on to former Genesis frontman Phil Collins for $33 million (£26.5m) in 2015.
The home was the backdrop to extraordinary scenes when Collins' ex-wife, Orianne Cevey, moved into the home with her new husband and refused to leave unless the singer renegotiated their earlier divorce settlement, as reported by Top10RealEstateDeals.com. In January 2021, Collins finally managed to evict the pair and sold the mansion shortly after for just under $39.3 million (£31.5m).

These days, the opulent home has seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, limestone floors, cloister windows, a home theatre and a drinks cellar. The master suite alone has a gym, terrace, office and large ensuite bathroom.

Shakira
Born in the small town of Barranquilla, Colombia to a Lebanese father and a Colombian mother, Shakira signed her first record deal at just 13 years old. She released four albums and enjoyed a stint acting on Latin telenovela El Oasis before finding international fame with Laundry Service, her first English language album.
With a net worth of around $300 million (£241m), Shakira has splashed out on homes in Spain, Cyprus, Uruguay and the Bahamas, but it's her Florida mansion that steals the show...

Shakira's Miami mansion, Florida, USA
The 'Hips Don't Lie' singer bought this stunning Miami home (centre left) in 2001. The oceanfront property stands on the shores of Biscayne Bay and has a private dock and more than 100 feet (30m) of private waterfrontage.
Shakira spent just under $3.4 million on the home according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, which is around $6 million (£4.8m) in today's money.

Shakira's Miami mansion: a peaceful retreat
In 2015, Shakira and her partner, former footballer Gerard Piqué, bought a seven-bedroom €5 million ($5.2m/£4.2m) home in Barcelona, Spain. However, the star kept her Miami mansion and when the pair split in 2022 Shakira returned to the home with her two young sons.
The 8,708-square-foot (809sqm) mansion has a modern, open-concept design with clean lines, bright spaces and lots of natural light. From this great room to the dining room and den, almost every surface is bright white, which gives the home a serene spa-like feel.

Shakira's Miami mansion: all-white décor
With six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, there's more than enough room for Shakira and her boys – but the singer's eight half-siblings may have to take turns to visit!
The interior features elegant, minimalist furnishings combined with touches of Lebanese and Mediterranean-style décor inspired by her heritage. The kitchen reflects the performer's taste for white with touches of silver – Shakira doesn't like gold, as her interior decorator Renata Lessa Bastos told Architectural Digest. Elsewhere there are hints of lavender, lilac and fuchsia.

Shakira's Miami mansion: stylish outdoor space
As expected for a home in America's Sunshine State, the outdoor space is the highlight.
However, Shakira almost parted ways with her gorgeous mansion a number of times, listing it for sale in 2013, 2015 and 2018.
It was most recently put on the market in 2021 for $15.9 million (£12.8m), but the listing was removed just four months later – perhaps because Shakira's relationship with Gerard Piqué was coming to an end and she sensed she might need a sanctuary.
Marc Anthony
Salsa singer Marc Anthony was born in New York City to Puerto Rican parents who named him after Mexican singer Marco Antonio Muniz.
He released his first album in 1991 and has since become the best-selling salsa artist of all time. Muevense, which came out in 2024, hit number four on Billboard's Tropical Albums chart, proving Marc hasn't lost his magic, despite decades in the game.
The star, who was famously married to Jennifer Lopez for several years, is said to be worth about $80 million (£64m).

Marc Anthony's huge Coral Gables home, Florida, USA
Thanks to Marc's ability to blend traditional Latin sounds with contemporary influences, he's built a global following – which is how he can afford an enormous home like this in Florida.
According to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, the star bought Casa Costanera back in 2018 from beverage heiress Hilda Maria Barcardi. Despite its $19 million (£15.3m) price tag, the Coral Gables home was reportedly only partially constructed. Luckily, the singer had the vision to transform it into what we see today...

Marc Anthony's huge Coral Gables home: sprawling floor plan
With 20,546 square feet (1,909sqm) of living space, 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms spread over three storeys, it's fair to say the enormous home isn't short of space.
Decorated in a neutral palette, the home has multiple living spaces, a formal dining room, a library, a master bedroom with two ensuite bathrooms, a drinks cellar, staff quarters and a lift for zipping between the different levels.

Outside, there's a two-bedroom guest house, a pool, a spa, terraces, loggias and this incredible poolside kitchen and dining area.
The mansion's 1.3-acre (0.5ha) corner lot perches on the edge of one of Coral Gables' prestigious canals. If the temperature got too hot on dry land, the salsa star could simply hop aboard a vessel from his private dock or use the gated community's boat ramp.

Marc Anthony's huge Coral Gables home: flipped for a profit
It's unclear if Marc changed his mind about living in such a vast home or whether he always intended to flip the property. Either way, he listed it in 2020 for $27 million (£21.7m), eventually selling the mansion for $22.4 million (£18m) in 2021.
While the Latin Grammy Award winner may not need a home quite this large, his current property no doubt has plenty of bedrooms for his children, two of whom he shares with J.Lo. He welcomed his seventh child in 2023 at the age of 55.

Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez, whose grandparents immigrated to the US from Mexico, was born in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1992.
She started her showbiz career as a child star, appearing on screen when she was just 10 years old. However, Selena hit the big time when she landed a leading role in Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place. A multi-talented youngster, she signed her first record deal when she was 16 and has gone on to enjoy massive hits like 'It Ain't Me' and 'We Don't Talk Anymore'.
Selena – who was named after Mexican singer Selena Quintanilla – has a fortune of $1.3 billion (£1bn) thanks to her Rare Beauty make-up company.

Selena Gomez's Calabasas mansion, California, USA
Selena Gomez bought this Mediterranean-style home for just under $3.7 million (£3m) in 2014 when she was just 22. The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home is located in Calabasas – the star-filled city in Los Angeles County made famous by the Kardashians.
The Only Murders in the Building star bought a pretty five-bed property in Tarzana, California with her parents' help in 2011, but this 8,618-square-foot (801sqm) home was the first she bought on her own. Thanks to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, we can take a look inside...

Selena Gomez's Calabasas mansion: A-list owners
In 2016, 'Unforgettable' rapper French Montana bought the mansion from Gomez for $3.3 million (£2.7m) – a bargain considering she'd originally listed it for $4.5 million (£3.6m). These photos were taken when he listed the home in 2020, eventually selling it for $5 million (£4m) in 2021.
While the finishings might speak more to French's taste, we can get a good idea of what attracted Selena to the impressive home – for example, this beautiful fireplace, which is one of five.

Selena Gomez's Calabasas mansion: tastefully decorated
Full of high ceilings and large windows, the airy home has a chef's kitchen with a breakfast nook and a double-height entrance hall that Selena used as a dining space, decorated with purple drapes and bold teal-coloured walls.
Naturally, there's also a gym, drinks cellar and enormous master suite with a fireplace in the bathroom. After French Montana moved in, he also added a recording studio.

Selena Gomez's Calabasas mansion: landscaped grounds
The home stands on a three-acre (1.2ha) plot nestled between Santa Monica and the Santa Susana Mountains. Mature olive and palm trees fill the lush grounds, alongside landscaped lawns, water features and even a life-sized topiary elephant – whether that was Selena's or French Montana's planting choice is anyone's guess.
This pool and stone cabana must have been hard to leave, but Selena moved on quickly, purchasing a home in her native Texas in 2015.

Lionel Messi
Possibly the greatest footballer of all time, Lionel Messi has won the men's Ballon d'Or football award a record-breaking eight times – soundly beating five-time winner Cristiano Ronaldo into second place.
Born in Rosario, Argentina, Messi was 17 when he began playing for Barcelona. He stayed with the club for another 17 years and became the top scorer in La Liga history before moving on to Paris Saint-Germain and then Inter Miami.
With a net worth of $850 million (£690m), Messi has been able to buy beautiful homes wherever he goes...

Lionel Messi's Fort Lauderdale family home, Florida, USA
After the striker signed with Inter Miami in July 2023, he was soon spotted house-hunting in the Florida city of Fort Lauderdale, not far from his new team's stadium. He quickly picked up this eight-bedroom, ten-bathroom mansion in the coastal city's exclusive Bay Colony community.
As football's second highest-paid player – he loses out to Ronaldo on that front – Messi could easily afford the home's $10.8 million (£8.7m) price tag.

Lionel Messi's Fort Lauderdale family home: packed with amenities
Lionel and his wife Antonela shared photos of themselves outside their new home in October 2023 on Instagram. Halloween pumpkins and ghosts adorn the exterior, no doubt put up for their three young sons to enjoy.
The home's 0.4-acre (0.2ha) lot has a pool, spa, two docks and a stretch of oceanside lawn with a pair of football goals at either end. It's a good job Messi has pretty good aim or he'd be forever fishing footballs from the water!

Lionel Messi's Fort Lauderdale family home: 24/7 security
While Fort Lauderdale doesn't have the star power of other ritzy areas of South Florida like Star Island, Palm Beach or Indian Creek, Messi's move to the city may attract other big buyers.
“It’s a collective, positive stamp for a neighbourhood and it certainly adds to the reason why people might want to move [there]," one local realtor told luxury real estate site Mansion Global. Other factors that may have enticed Messi include the boating facilities and tight security – the Bay Colony gates are guarded 24/7.

Luis Miguel
Known as El Sol de México or The Sun of Mexico, Luis Miguel is one of the most iconic and successful Latin American singers of all time.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to a Spanish father and an Italian mother, Luis moved to Mexico as a child, where he released his first recording at the age of 12. Best known for his romantic ballads, he's dabbled in several genres including mariachi, bolero, tango and jazz.
Miguel won his first Grammy when he was 15 and followed it up with five more, plus six Latin Grammys. His long career is said to have earned him a fortune of around $180 million (£145m).
Luis Miguel's abandoned Acapulco mega-mansion, Guerrero, Mexico
Luis Miguel lived in this resort-style mansion in Mexico at the height of his fame in the 1990s. The home stands on a plot that covers almost an acre (0.4ha) in Acapulco's trendy Diamond Zone and was once one of the most desirable properties in the whole of Guerrero state.
Considering the area's beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife, it's sad to see this once-grand house standing forlorn and forgotten, as captured here by urban explorer Alejandro Fuentes. So what happened?

Thanks to footage captured by the @casadeluismiguel TikTok account in 2021, we can explore the fascinating home and get an idea of what it must have been like in its heyday.
The double-height entrance hall with its sweeping staircase and decorative ironwork is as romantic as one of Miguel's ballads and gives an arresting first impression.
Luis Miguel's abandoned Acapulco mega-mansion: luxury features
The master suite (left), which was reached by a private elevator, and the spa surrounded by Grecian columns aren't even the home's most extraordinary features. There's also a two-storey closet, an expansive drinks cellar and even an observatory.
The grounds feature an unusual pool, an artificial lake, palm trees, a tennis court and a large terrace with stunning sea views.
Luis Miguel's abandoned Acapulco mega-mansion: left to the elements
Sadly, when a multi-storey building was erected nearby – threatening the famously discreet star's privacy – he sold the home for MEX$106 million ($5.1m/£4.1m) in 2013.
It stood abandoned for years until Hurricane Otis hit the area in 2023, destroying almost everything in its path. The Category 5 storm had a devastating impact on the dilapidated mansion, though it's still standing today.
Due to the disaster, Miguel had to reschedule an Acapulco concert originally slated for December 2023. He went on to donate MEX$10 million ($483k/£389k) to fund the city's rebuild.

Rafael Nadal
The winner of 22 men's singles Grand Slam titles and an Olympic gold medal, Rafael Nadal is one of history's greatest tennis players. Since turning pro in 2001, Nadal – who's originally from Manacor on the Spanish island of Mallorca – has racked up over $134 million (£108m) in prize money and is worth a reported $220 million (£179m).
When the sporting legend retired in November 2024, tennis fans everywhere were heartbroken – but for Rafa, the chance to spend more time at his idyllic Mallorcan retreat may have eased the transition...

Rafael Nadal's island retreat, Mallorca, Spain
Nadal planned for his retirement long before it happened, snapping up this secluded spot in Porto Cristo, Mallorca way back in 2013. He and his wife Xisca paid a shade more than €4 million ($4.2m/£3.4m) for the 1.7-acre (0.7ha) plot after a discount of almost €2 million ($2.1m/£1.7m).
Photographed here in 2016, a traditional stone farmhouse once stood on the land – but as we'll see, it didn't survive for long...
Rafael Nadal's island retreat: a modern construction
Nadal demolished the original buildings and hired Mallorcan architect Tomeu Esteva to design this modern compound. The main home is made up of two interconnected two-storey buildings, as well as two further buildings surrounded by terraces and landscaped gardens.
The complex stands on a rocky promontory overlooking the small town he knew well as a child. He grew up in the nearby community of Manacor, where he opened a tennis academy in 2016.
Rafael Nadal's island retreat: imbued with childhood memories
As Nadal told the US news programme 60 Minutes in 2019, not long before building work started, he used to cut through this garden as a kid on his way to jump into the sea from the cliffs. It's something of a tradition for local children, although Rafa may have put a stop to that since moving in!
Although the interview was given before building work started on the new house, the site's potential was plain to see thanks to its incredible location.
Rafael Nadal's island retreat: coastal location
Rafa shared this photo of himself swimming in his infinity pool in September 2023, just over a year before he retired. He has clear views of the Porto Cristo marina across the water, where he moors his 80-foot (24m) catamaran yacht, Great White.
Nadal's parents live just across the bay, which must be handy when he needs a babysitter for his son Rafael Jr, who arrived in 2022.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez
One of the greatest footballers of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo made a name for himself while playing for Manchester United in the mid-2000s. He has since played for Real Madrid, Juventus and the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, which he moved to in 2023.
Born in Argentina in 1994 and raised in Spain, Georgina Rodríguez is a Spanish model, influencer and businesswoman, who has built a career in fashion, media and philanthropy. Cristiano and Georgina met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid, where she was working as a sales assistant. Their relationship became public later that year.

Cristiano and Georgina's forever home, Cascais, Portugal
Ronaldo's stellar international career playing for his native Portugal and his five Balon D'Or wins have cemented his sporting legacy and made him one of the world's most marketable athletes. As a result, he's estimated to be worth around $800 million (£650m).
This luxurious, modern estate is Ronaldo's home in Quinta da Marinha, Portugal. This photo was taken in July 2024 while the estate was still under construction and it shows just how vast the house and gardens are. Standing in the beautiful coastal town of Cascais, just outside Lisbon, the sleek, contemporary mansion offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Cristiano and Georgina's forever home, Cascais, Portugal
The home is a spacious, multi-level villa with expansive living areas and multiple bedrooms. Unlike many celebrities who rattle around in enormous mansions by themselves, Ronaldo really does need all this space as he and his long-time partner Georgina have five young children.
While the footballer has a fully equipped gym to keep him busy, there's also a movie theatre to entertain the children.
Cristiano and Georgina's forever home, Cascais, Portugal
The interiors are designed with minimalist elegance, blending modern furniture, high-end finishes and open spaces to create a feeling of tranquillity and luxury. Ronaldo and Georgina’s exacting standards and attention to detail are evident in every corner of the home and the result is an opulent but comfortable space.
This backlit wall – possibly made from a mineral like banded agate – contains a fireplace and is the mansion's stand-out feature. It regularly appears as a backdrop in Georgina's social media selfies.

The palatial family home also has plenty of outdoor space, ideal for enjoying Portugal's warm climate. The pool and large terraces allow them to enjoy the ocean breeze and scenic views.
Georgina Rodríguez has spoken openly about her humble upbringing and how it contrasts with her current life. In her Netflix series, I Am Georgina, she reflected on her journey, stating: "I know what it’s like to not have anything and what it’s like to have it all."

Sofía Vergara
Sofía Vergara started out as a model and TV show host in her native Colombia before she and her family moved to Miami, Florida in 1998. She spent several years picking up minor TV and film roles before she landed the role of Gloria on the American sitcom Modern Family. The show ran for 11 seasons, during which Vergara was nominated for four Emmy Awards.
She owes her $180 million (£145m) fortune not only to the long-running programme but also to her role as a judge on TV talent show America's Got Talent and various endorsement deals. Naturally, that kind of cash buys some serious real estate...
Sofía Vergara's Beverly Hills home, California, USA
Sofía's sprawling home is hidden away in the gated community of North Beverly Park, an area of Beverly Hills packed with millionaire mansions. High-profile fans of the area include Sylvester Stallone, Rod Stewart, Mark Wahlberg, Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy and not one but two Saudi princes.
Sofía and her then-husband, actor Joe Manganiello, spent $26 million (£21m) on the 17,100-square-foot (1,590sqm) villa in 2020. Sadly, the couple split in July 2023 but Vergara stayed on at the home with her adult son Manolo.
Sofía Vergara's Beverly Hills home: made for entertaining
When she's not masterminding her latest business venture, Sofía loves to entertain. Whether she's hosting a breakfast in her pristine kitchen or throwing a more formal feast, her gatherings are picture-perfect and full of fun.
Vergara's formal dining room (right) is one of her favourite rooms thanks to the hand-painted ceiling that brings the room to life. An 18th-century French tapestry hangs on the wall, which she credits with "bringing together the whole mood of the room", as she told Architectural Digest. As we can see from this beautiful table layout, the entertainer is a keen china collector, as she feels it makes her guests feel special.
Sofía Vergara's Beverly Hills home: luxurious walk-in closet
Sofía admits to spending most of her time in her incredible closet, which she calls a "girl's dream". Modern Family co-stars Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband Justin Mikita are pictured here touring the impressive space on Sofía's Instagram.
Like the rest of her house, Vergara's bedroom is light and airy, with white walls and floor-to-ceiling windows that open out onto private balconies. A gold four-poster bed gives the room an opulent feel, yet the star insists it's "super cosy". This is largely thanks to a marble fireplace, which she prefers to light rather than turning on the heating when it gets chilly due to the beautiful light it gives.
Sofía Vergara's Beverly Hills home: a tropical backyard
Incredibly, Sofía says that when she first saw the house it was "horrific... like a castle in Transylvania", but when she saw the garden, she knew it was where she wanted to live. While there are lawns, a pool, a spa, a pool house and a sports court, it's here in the loggia that Sofía spends much of her time either drinking coffee on her white sofas or hosting friends around the dining table.
The house itself may have a Mediterranean feel, but Sofía filled her garden with tropical plants to help her feel like she was back in Colombia.

Bad Bunny
Known as the King of Latin Trap, Bad Bunny was born Benito Martínez Ocasio in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico in 1994. He burst onto the music scene in 2016 with 'Soy Peor' and quickly went on to collaborate with J Balvin, Karol G, Drake and Cardi B.
His innovative blend of reggaeton and trap has helped him become one of Latin music's most influential artists and his album El Último Tour Del Mundo was the first all-Spanish-language album to top the US Billboard 200 chart. It's no wonder he's worth an estimated $50 million (£40.2m)!
Bad Bunny's Sunset Strip estate, California, USA
Bad Bunny reportedly bought this contemporary home in the hills above Los Angeles' Sunset Strip in 2023. Built in 2005, it was renovated shortly before the musician picked it up for a cool $8.8 million (£7.1m).
The 0.6-acre (0.2ha) lot has a five-bedroom main home, as well as a two-bedroom guest house.
Bad Bunny's Sunset Strip estate: open-plan design
The 7,300-square-foot (678sqm) property has several living rooms laid out in an open-plan design, including a dining room, chef's kitchen, home office and this games room.
Gaming company NRG rented the contemporary mansion back in November 2020 and gave their fans a tour of the home via their YouTube channel.
Bad Bunny's Sunset Strip estate: breathtaking city views
Part of the master bedroom, this ensuite bathroom has a private balcony, an enormous shower surrounded by glass and a freestanding tub set below a window with amazing city views. In fact, there are incredible views from pretty much every room of the house.
In 2022, the luxurious home was listed for rent for almost $90,000 (£72k) a month before Bad Bunny scooped it up the following January.
Bad Bunny's Sunset Strip estate: private place to unwind
The estate stands behind gates at the end of a private cul-de-sac, so there's little chance of being spotted by fans while relaxing by this beautiful pool. Elsewhere in the grounds, there's an outdoor dining area with a built-in barbeque and fireplace – the perfect spot for entertaining on balmy LA evenings with the twinkling lights of the city below.
Bad Bunny also owns a secluded cottage hidden in the Hollywood Hills, which he bought from Ariana Grande for $8.3 million (£6.7m) in 2024.

Diego Maradona
Although Diego Maradona retired from professional football in 1997, the Argentine's name is still mentioned among the greats of the game. Nicknamed El Diez after the number 10 shirt he wore while playing for Napoli, Maradona was famously instrumental in Argentina's 1986 World Cup win, earning player of the tournament.
Despite suffering ill health for many years, Maradona turned his hand to management after he retired and was still coaching when he died in November 2020. He reportedly passed away with $100,000 (£80.3k) to his name, as well as at least two homes.

Just over a year after his death, much of Maradona's estate was auctioned off. The jewel in the crown was this house in the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires, which the footballer bought for his parents in the 1980s and where they lived for 30 years.
The six-bedroom, four-bathroom home was put up for auction in 2021 with a starting price of $900,000 (£723k) but it failed to sell. Let's take a tour...

While the living room has relatively low ceilings, the marble and tiled floors, mirrored walls, wooden panelling and chandeliers give the room a glitzy feel.

Outside, there's a neatly trimmed lawn with a large pool, a garage parking for three cars and a small cabana.
The home wasn't the only item that failed to reach its reserve price in the auction. Two BMW cars listed together for $390,000 (£313k) and a $65,000 (£52k) apartment in the coastal Argentinian city of Mar del Plata also failed to find buyers.
However, by 2022 the home had found a buyer and was saved from the looming threat of demolition. The new owner even invited fans to the property to watch the World Cup that same year.
