Jackson puts an amazing Manhattan condo on the market and actress and comedian Kristen Wiig's mid-century Silver Lake home goes on sale. Let's take a look inside...

Legendary actor, director and producer Robert Redford has put his Napa Valley country retreat on the market for $7.5 million (£5.9m). For 14 years, Redford and his family set up home in Utah and used their wine country residence for hosting family and friends, and enjoying their hobbies before listing it for sale.

Named Danza del Sol (Sundance in Spanish, after his film festival) the property consists of the expansive main house, a guest house/studio and two large garages. The stylish but neutral living room comes complete with an exposed stone wood burning fireplace, a white wood panelled ceiling and plenty of shelving for the movie mogul's books.

Measuring 5,200 square foot, the main house has space to spare with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a den and library. The sunny white kitchen is perfect for entertaining with the formal dining room just a few feet away through the sliding barn door.

The master bedroom is surrounded by windows with views over the Napa Valley. The decor almost has a tropical hideaway feel with exposed wooden beams, rattan blinds and hints of terracotta. The house is listed for sale with Steve Mavromihalis real estate.  

The guest house has been converted into a studio for Redford's wife, artist Sibylle Szaggars. The open space is filled with light from the wall of French doors and the huge receding garage doors that disappear up into the vaulted ceiling – perfect for getting large artworks in and out of the space.

Redford has lived on the property for years and it neighbours the location of his annual Sundance Film Festival. The charming getaway sits in 10 acres of private land surrounded by woods and idyllic walking trails. If you fancy more of a relaxing day, the rectangular swimming pool is surrounded by gazebos, sun loungers and an outdoor dining area.

More than a year after they separated, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt have put their former home in Los Angeles on the market for $4.9 million (£3.8m). The couple purchased the property in 2013 from Live Nation Entertainment president Michael Rapino for $3.3 million (£2.6m), so are set to make a profit from their sale.

Built in the late 1970s, the 4,710-square-foot house sits behind secure gates and high hedges. Walking through the front door a series of archways leads to the living area which boasts high ceilings and wood panelled walls.

Arranged around a centre island, the eat-in kitchen overlooks the swimming pool outside. To match with the rest of the house, the brown granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and chandeliers give it a more traditional appeal.

The spacious master bedroom includes a sitting area with a fireplace as well as a wrought iron balcony that overlooks the pool. Two custom-fitted walk-in wardrobes and a bathroom with a jetted tub and steam shower add a luxury touch.

Outside, a poolside loggia with an outdoor kitchen and built-in barbeque provides the perfect space for entertaining in the Californian sun. The dining area has mounted heaters in the wood panelled ceiling and a fire pit for colder days. There's even a tennis court, which is illuminated and overlooked by a tented pavilion for the benefit of any spectators.

Former tennis champion Andy Roddick and wife Brooklyn Decker have listed their lavish Texan estate for $5.9 million (£4.6m). The couple bought the home in 2013 and have since added their personal style to the decor.

The mansion features rustic interior details with exposed stone and wood beams that have been reclaimed from the Chicago Stock Exchange.

The kitchen has been opened up and fitted with on-trend marble worktops, mixed with plain wood and painted blue cupboards, which are offset by a neon light in the background. The couple also added a temperature controlled room for their extensive wine collection.

On one side of the house sits the owner's hideaway, with three ensuite bedrooms, a games room and office. If that wasn't enough, over the other side of the property sits the guest quarters, which has a wood-burning fireplace, three wardrobes and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and copper bathtub.

The outside is just as amazing as the inside, with a luxurious pool, a summer kitchen with a covered dining area and an outdoor spa in beautifully landscaped grounds.

British artist Tracey Emin, has listed her condo in the Mid-Beach area – known as 'Millionaire's Row' – for $500,000 (£391k). The acclaimed artist first bought the apartment in 2013 for $420,000 (£328k), so is set to make a small profit.

The 11th-floor condo has two bedrooms and 1,040 square foot of space. Luxurious blonde hardwood floors and bright white walls run throughout. The overall space is fairly modest with the front door opening straight into this l-shaped living room.

The small kitchen packs a lot into a practical layout and features glossy white lacquer cabinets, dark grey granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

A bedroom and bathroom on either side of the living area means that there's enough space and privacy for the owner and any overnight guests. The room is decorated in muted greys with luxe touches such as the faux fur rug – we wouldn't mind being a guest for the night.

Located in a fully-serviced building, residents also get access to valet parking, a bistro, a gym with a yoga room and a swimming pool that overlooks the waterway.

Three-time nominated Grey's Anatomy creator and writer, Shonda Rhimes, has put one of the four multimillion-dollar homes that she owns in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles on the market for $10 million (£7.8m). The author first bought the property for $5.6 million (£4.3m) in the spring of 2010.

The huge 8,298-square-foot property has two adjoining living rooms. One has a carved stone fireplace while the other has a trio of French doors that lead to the outdoor terrace.

The kitchen is arranged around a t-shaped island that is fitted with speckled beige granite countertops on ivory cabinets. It's open-plan with the family room and makes a great communal space for entertaining guests.

With six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, there's no shortage of space. The huge master suite has dual baths, two walk-in wardrobes and a sperate study. Decorated in a calming blue, it uses a slightly different colour scheme to the rest of the house.

Outside, the tiered back garden has a ground level entertaining space with a swimming pool perched above. A cabana that sits behind the pool makes the perfect place for some privacy.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star, Mariska Hargitay has put her New York townhouse on the market that she shares with her husband, Peter Hermann, for $10.8 million (£8.5m). However, the couple won't be making much of a profit as they bought the home for the same price in 2012. 

The property spans over 7,000 square feet and has six bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms. Spread over an impressive six floors, with an elevator to get around easily, the stylish abode is full of natural light, high ceilings and skyline views.

The eclectic kitchen, which was remodelled when the couple moved in, is decked out with yellow cabinets and bright white counter-tops. It also features tiled flooring, lots of storage and bench space, as well as having the luxury of two separate sinks.

With five bedrooms, there's plenty of different decor options to choose from. The majority of the house is fairly neutral but this bedroom has a nautical theme and includes a fun boat-shaped bed, perfect for younger members of the family. If you love a themed children's room, these incredible kids beds are a great place to start. 

At the top of the house sits a rooftop penthouse, which has two sunny landscaped terraces that would make the perfect media room or guest space.

This Spanish-style property located in the hills above LA's Silver Lake Resevoir, owned by none other than Leonardo DiCaprio, has gone on the market for $1.6 million (£1.3m).

The private gated entry courtyard features Spanish-style tiles and a corrugated roof with wooden French doors.

Built in the early 1930s, the 3,560 sq ft house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The Titanic actor scooped the property almost 20 years ago for just $770,000 (£590k).

The spacious wood-floored living room features a tile surrounded fireplace, French doors and arch-shaped shelving space. Just think of the decor you could do in here!

The kitchen looks classically Spanish with white ceramic tiles bordered in dark blue patterned tiles. Even though it looks traditional it has all the modern amenities you'd need to cook up a storm.

The house also includes a library, study and five bathrooms. One is decked out in black and emerald green vintage tiles, which are beautifully on-trend.

Outside, over the basement garage, an arched loggia features wrought iron fencing and an unusual pressed ceiling with a drop down movie screen and projection system. Perfect for movie nights in the warmer weather.

The loggia overlooks the swimming pool, which is edged with blue tiles and surrounded by stone flooring. It's the perfect place to catch some rays.

Another great outdoor feature is the lily pad topped koi pond, which features a pretty backdrop of colourful Spanish tiles.

The idyllic exterior of the house has a white facade with dark wooden accents and is surrounded by tropical plants. We wouldn't mind spending some time here.

After living in Bel Air for three years, Zayn Malik has decided to up sticks to be nearer girlfriend Gigi Hadid in New York. He has put his Bel Air mansion on the market for $3.5 million (£2.7m) just three years after he purchased it in 2015.

The 25-year-old revealed previously that he graffitis the walls of his home, but there's no sign of it now with the new neutral colour scheme. We wouldn't be surprised if a professional interior designer had styled the house for these photos – they are stunning!

The living area features large doorways and wooden furnishings with a minimalist theme. The tan leather armchairs and open fire are standout features in such a light and airy space.

The broken-plan living space includes a dining area with a sociable round table and artwork on the walls. The designer chairs are Vitra plywood and cost around $1,490 (£1,160) each!

The minimalist bathroom follows the same theme and brings in hints of nature with the wooden towel rail and natural coloured hand towel.

The garden is full of lush greenery and includes a hot tub and minimalist furniture, where you can sit and look out onto the mountains.

Actress Kristen Wiig has listed her Silver Lake home for $5.1 million (£4m). She bought the property in 2014 for $1.7 million, so she is set to make a solid profit on the sale.

The four-bed, four-bath house, which was built in 1954, has been completely renovated and overlooks the trendy Los Angeles area of Silver Lake.

The interior style of the house demonstrates her love of mid-century design but there's plenty of 21st-century technology for any millenials on the hunt for a new home.

Amongst the home's features, there's a formal living room, a dining room, a screening office and den. This room uses a lot of natural materials and colours to make it a perfectly snug den.

Hollywood superstar Samuel L. Jackson, has put his Manhattan home on the market for $13 million (£10m). The actor, who lived in the 3,000-square-foot apartment with his wife LaTanya Richardson, purchased his home in 2005 for $4.8 million from former NBA basketball player Greg Anthony.

Set inside a 13-storey pre-war building located close to Central Park, the four-bedroom condo has a number of perks including a formal dining room, wet bar and marble bathroom.

The main hub of the home is the open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, however, sitting across the hall is an additional light-filled second reception room with views across the city.

The curved sofa and artwork help to separate the zones in the open-plan living area, while the large windows and off-white walls help to offset the dark flooring and fill the room with natural light.
