Love Island's Casa Amor villa is up for sale
Casa Amor is on the market
The luxury Mallorcan villa – home to some of this year's Love Island contestants – is on market for £2.6 million. Casa Amor is the secret second villa that housed the boys halfway through the series, and is just as stunning as its famous counterpart.
A standout property
The famous villa sits to the east of the Baleric island and is the work of owner David Heeley and local leading architect, Andrau Bennassar. The impressive contemporary property stands out for all of the right reasons against the picturesque countryside, with its pale stone walls and clean modern style.
Location, location, location
Located near the picture-perfect village of Sant Llorenc de Cardassar, the villa is near over eight kilometres of perfect coastline. We've seen some amazing homes by the sea but this really is a peaceful paradise. No wonder the contestants were so sorry to leave!
Modern architecture
The modern finca – Spanish for a rural estate – has four roomy bedrooms, four bathrooms, and sits in a Mallorcan landscape full of olive groves. The villa is also almost entirely self-sufficient in electricity thanks to its solar panels, as well as having its own water source in the form of a well.
An excellent exterior
The outside of this impressive house is a huge selling point. The exterior of the ivy-covered building is hugged by fragrant lemon and orange trees, while rosemary and oleander hedges line the garden.
An impressive driveway
The famous driveway where the boys entered the villa is lined by symmetrical rows of cypress and olive trees for a true Spanish feel.
The grand entrance
The breathtaking property has an impressive entrance with large wooden doors. It also comes complete with a wine chiller, sound dock and entertainment system. Mysteriously, there's a 007 symbol above the door. We could tell you why, but we'd have to kill you...
First impressions
Once through the grand doors, you enter the light-filled hallway with double height ceilings stretching up to the second floor. The sliding glass doors lead out to the covered patio area, which will give you some protection from the all-day sun.
A place for all seasons
Stunning stone flooring runs throughout the house, which can be heated when the weather turns. The modern open-flame gas fire in the living area will also be a blessing in the winter months.
Let there be light
The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the 4,800 square feet of living space with light. The sliding glass panels open out into the luxurious outdoor area where you can enjoy lazy days by the pool before retring here to chill out and gaze at the fire.
A designer kitchen
The high-end Boffi kitchen boasts top of the range fixtures and fittings with a marble effect island and chic wooden breakfast bar.
The perfect cooking space
Complete with a pantry for all your dry goods, the kitchen also has a long window with panoramic views. How does it compare to some of these jawdropping vistas from around the world?
The master bedroom
Even though the contestants on Love Island all sleep together in one room, the property actually has four separate bedrooms, all with ensuites. This master bedroom has its own ensuite tucked behind a dividing wall.
Designer bathroom
The master bedroom's ensuite space has an open-plan layout with a gorgeous freestanding bath. The his-and-hers sinks and dark stone give it a luxurious feel.
Rural beauty at every turn
Two large roof terraces are also on this floor, you might even be able to see one of the four golf courses in the vicinity, or even a picturesque beach from the elevated viewpoint across the countryside.
Enjoying the outside
Even in the smaller of the four bedrooms, the huge windows slide open to let the outside in and ensure you don't miss a second of the Spanish sunshine.
A mix of styles
As seen in one of the bedrooms, the property blends together modern and traditional styles, mixing rich wood on this feature wall with modern strip lighting in the ceiling that changes colour to personalise the space according to your mood.
A new dimension
Each of the spacious rooms currently features artwork by Helmet Newton. Some of them are slightly risque, but the interesting and colourful pieces are definitely on-brand for Love Island!
Time to cool down
We've seen some mind-blowing swimming pools and this is no exception. Of course, no Love Island villa would be complete without an amazing outdoor area. Spend your days cooling down in the 14-metre swimming pool complete with a designer water fountain at one end.
A great outdoor space
As well as the pool the outdoor area also comprises a yoga platform, massage space and a covered seating area for finding a shady spot when the sunbathing gets a bit too intense.
A private area
Scene of many a romantic moment (and where poor Jack slept so as not to upset Dani Dyer), the swinging daybed is hidden away from the rest of the house. Surrounded by bushes, it'll give you privacy and a place to relax if the pool gets a little monotonous.
Eco-friendly and sustainable
There's also no shortage of greenery in the garden. It has been designed in a geometric style with oleander and rosemary hedges.
...and it comes with a surprise
As if all that wasn't enough, Casa Amor also has its own private vineyard, which has been the scene of many an awkward date. Whether you're a fan of the show or not, the villa is undeniably amazing. Loved this? Take a look at these awesome vineyard homes.
