Kaley Cuoco landed her breakthrough role in the late 1990s, playing Bridget Hennessy in 8 Simple Rules. Today, she's known for playing Penny in The Big Bang Theory, the aspiring actress who lived across the hallway from Sheldon and Leonard. After 12 seasons, Cuoco has racked up an estimated fortune of $110 million (£86.5m). Unsurprisingly, the star has used her vast bank account to invest in lots of beautiful homes, including a contemporary crib in Lobo Canyon, California.

The gorgeous modern home is situated in Agoura Hills, a city in the Santa Monica Mountains region of Los Angeles County. Built in 2020, Cuoco bought the place in 2022 from Twilight actor Taylor Lautner, paying him $5.3 million (£4.2m). Just 14 months later, she's placed the home back onto the market with an ambitious $6.5 million (£5.1m) price tag, but we can't fathom why she'd want to say goodbye to this stunning home.

Nestled in a gated community, the 5,647-square-foot home features modern and free-flowing living spaces, kitted out with stunning décor and 12-foot ceilings. There's a living room with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the mountainous view, a huge open-plan kitchen with a dining room, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. 

According to Realtor, Cuoco has invested a reasonable amount in renovations during her residency, including modernising the kitchen and installing a wine wall and a brand-new bar. Many of the main living areas also open up to an exterior deck, where incredible canyon scenery can be savoured.

Fit for a wealthy VIP, the master bedroom has its own ensuite, sitting area, walk-in closet and balcony, not to mention plenty of oversized picture windows that frame the landscape outside. Other highlights include the home's media room, six-car garage and air-conditioned gym.

Making the most of the Californian climate, the property also benefits from a lovely nine-acre backyard, complete with a 45-foot infinity pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen and numerous sitting areas for soaking up the scenery. There's even a firepit for those cooler evenings. We certainly wouldn't be in a rush to move!

Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, is worth a reported $500 million (£393m) and is said to own $250 million (£197m) worth of real estate around the world, including luxury properties in Los Angeles, New York and the United Kingdom. Perhaps looking to reduce the size of his portfolio, the legendary rock star recently listed his sprawling waterfront estate in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Let's take a look around...

Secluded inside an exclusive, gated community near Sarasota, the waterside mansion was built in 2008 and Jagger bought it in 2020 for a mere $1.9 million (£1.5m). The rocker and his long-time partner, Melanie Hamrick, utilised the home for extended stays in the sun but have now placed it on the market with a $3.5 million (£2.8m) price tag.

The 5,726-square-foot residence features a grand entrance foyer, four ensuite bedrooms, five bathrooms, a study, a den, a media room, a chef's kitchen and a formal dining room. There's also this huge great room, where Jagger and Hamrick no doubt hosted plenty of VIPs.

According to the listing, Jagger completely remodelled the house not once, but twice, in the last two years. The refurbishments have resulted in high-end and modern living spaces, kitted out with professional lighting, contemporary pocket doors, sleek dark wood floors and a high-tech security system. Yet there are plenty of lovely traditional elements too, including coffered ceilings, marble floors and large arched doors that frame the gorgeous garden outside.

The oversized owner's suite might just be the finest room in the house. Equipped with a private balcony with a fireplace and dreamy views, the room also has a walk-in closet and a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with dual granite vanities, a soaking tub and a large rainforest shower. 

With exceptional water views on two sides, a beautifully landscaped garden, a swimming pool and its very own bell tower, the property was definitely designed for outdoor living. Located in sought-after Bel-Air, the property was designed by architect Samuel Marx and constructed in 1940. After toying with the idea of renovating the home with her new husband Ben Affleck, J.Lo instead decided to offload it. Initially asking $42.5 million (£33.4m), it's now available for just under $40 million (£31m).

As well as having endless smash hit singles and awards under his belt, Canadian rapper Drake is also the executive producer of HBO's acclaimed and award-winning TV show, Euphoria. The 'One Dance' singer has an estimated net worth of $250 million (£197m) and he's used his wealth to invest in an array of extravagant homes across North America. After selling his iconic Yolo Estate for $12 million (£9.4m), the singer has decided to sell off his last American residences, leaving us guessing whether he's planning a permanent move back to Canada.

Drake bought this 24,260-square-foot estate in March 2022, from English pop star Robbie Williams, paying a cool $75 million (£59m). Just over a year later, Drake decided to say goodbye, listing it for an inflated $88 million (£69m). Once sold, the rapper will no longer own a home in the USA, according to The New York Post. However, he still owns a 50,000-square-foot, custom-built mansion in Toronto, which will likely become his full-time home.

No matter the reason for the sale of this pad, we can't imagine saying goodbye will be easy. Nestled in the hills above Benedict Canyon, the Californian crib sits on 20 acres of land and benefits from sprawling interior living spaces, lush gardens and, of course, jaw-dropping views of both the city and the ocean. Talk about billionaire bling!

American actor Miles Teller made his debut with the independent movie Rabbit Hole, before gaining recognition for his role in The Spectacular Now and the Divergent trilogy. Since then, he's starred in countless hit movies, including War Dogs, Top Gun: Maverick and Whiplash. The star married Keleigh Sperry in 2019 and the couple lived in a gorgeous modern residence in Studio City, California.

Teller bought the house brand-new in 2016, paying $3 million (£2.4m) for the privilege. The actor recently picked up a Cape Cod-style home in Pacific Palisades and quickly placed this pad, which is slightly smaller, on the market with a $5.8 million (£4.6m) price tag.

While the pop princess and beauty tycoon only added this dazzling Beverly Hills property to her portfolio in 2021, she’s already looking to offload the home, with an asking price of $10.5 million (£8.3). The 5,100-square-foot home dates back to 1939, but has clearly been updated to include every modern luxury and comfort, while still retaining its elegant architectural details.

These are particularly on display in the living room, which boasts dark wood cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors and a dramatic wood and marble fireplace. A Tudor-inspired wrought-iron light fixture and mullioned glass doors add a sense of the home’s history, but a bright, contemporary colour palette keeps the space feeling light and airy, in true California fashion.

The 78-year-old star has sold more than 250 million records across the globe, with numerous hits including 'Da Ya Think I’m Sexy', 'Maggie May', and 'You’re In My Heart'. However, Stewart, who calls the UK his primary home, may be preparing to leave the California high life behind him.

After decades of ownership, the singer has recently listed his 28,500-square-foot California estate for a shocking $70 million (£55m). The opulent European-style mansion was custom built for Stewart back in the 1990s by famous architect Richard Landry and boasts nine bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a three-storey guest house, two gyms, a pool and a football field, not to mention some truly striking interiors.

Inspired by Versailles, the home’s interior design features ornate marble and parquet floors, decorative panelling, intricate moulding and dozens of sparkling chandeliers.
