Katy Perry likes the neighbourhood so much she once owned two homes here! The side-by-side properties in Runyon Canyon are decked out for that luxe LA indoor/outdoor lifestyle with a pool, spa, poolside cabana and pizza oven. Perhaps cleaning two houses got tiresome for Katy, she sold the larger of the two properties to restaurateur Michael Chow for a cool $9 million in March 2019.

The name is apt; Studio City is home to both a major television and movie studio. So, it's no surprise that the neighbourhood is popular with actors looking for a short commute. There's also a great Sunday Farmers' Market and excellent schools, making it a popular choice for stars with families.
