Ellen DeGeneres and wife, Portia de Rossi have put their modern farmhouse in Santa Barbara on the market for $7.9 million (£6.3m). The frequent house flippers first put the property on the market back in May for $8.9 million (£7.2m), so have dropped their price by $1 million (£800k). However, the couple could still be making a profit on their $6.7 million (£5.4m) purchase price from less than a year ago.

The 10-acre estate contains a farmhouse and a century-old barn that is perfect for guests. Andre Branch's new-build home, $2.3 million (£1.8m)
Former Miami Dolphins player, Andre Branch has put his modern four-bedroom home in the affluent area of Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the market for $2.3 million (£1.8m). The NFL star was the first owner of the brand new South Florida home, which he bought for $1.8 million (£1.5m) after it was built in 2017.

The four-bed, four-and-a-half-bathroom property has had over $250,000 (£200k) in upgrades including added smart technology, which can be controlled from a phone. The main open-plan kitchen and living space has floor-to-ceiling windows and features streamlined designs with warm wooden highlights.

David Arquette's lakeside home: $1.6 million (£1.3m)
Scream actor David Arquette doesn't have just one, but two properties on the market. The first listed is his lodge-style home in the Californian community of Lake Arrowhead, which is on the market for $1.6 million (£1.3m). Arquette originally purchased the property in 2017, nearly two years ago for $1.4 million (£1.1m), so is not set to make a huge profit.

The four-bedroom, five-bathroom lodge has around 5,000 square feet of space and sits right near the eighth hole at the Lake Arrowhead Country Club. Hidden behind a wrought iron fence, the house sits on more than one acre of land and was built in 1950. It has five bedrooms and four bathrooms as well spacious living areas. The cavernous living room features a vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams, a gold fireplace and a huge picture window that looks out over the back garden and swimming pool.

Fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have put their luxury villa up for sale. On the market for $7.2 million (£5.8m) according to Tatler, the amazing villa is set on Stromboli Island in Sicily, Italy. Made up of three buildings that have been merged to make one estate, the amazing house sits along the coastline in the formation of a wave. The duo have owned the villa since the 1990s, and regularly hosted huge parties for their A-list friends.

Pretty Little Liars actress Holly Marie Combs has put her equestrian estate on the market for $2.2 million (£1.8m). Located in the gated community of Bell Canyon, the star purchased the rural property almost 20 years ago for $780,000 (£640k), so could make a hefty profit if she manages the sale price.

Actor Jonathan Frakes, best known for his role of Commander William T. Riker in Star Trek, and his wife Genie Francis have put their mansion in the Woodland Hills, California on the market for $3.9 million (£3.2m). Built in the late 1980s, the couple snapped up the huge property almost two years ago for $2.8 million (£2.3m), so are potentially set to make a good profit from the sale.

The opulent stone exterior of the just over 8,900 square foot mansion has remained unchanged since it was built in 1988, but the inside has been extensively renovated by the couple. The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home is full of modern design features, including the double front doors and the glitzy chandelier in the double-height foyer.

Actress Kirsten Dunst has put her Californian home in the area of Toluca Lake on the market for $4.7 million (£3.8m). The Spider-Man star has owned the waterfront property since 2001 when she bought it for $2.6 million (£2.1m). Fronted by a lush garden, the Cape Cod-style residence is surrounded by a quaint white picket fence.

Scottish musician KT Tunstall dropped the price on her Californian bungalow in Venice to $2.8 million (£2.3m), four months since she put it up for sale at $3.2 million (£2.6m). After paying $2.2 million for the property in late 2014, she could make a small profit on the deal.

Former Today host Matt Lauer has listed his grand Hamptons Estate for $44.8 million (£36.3m). The sale comes after Lauer and his former wife, Annette Roque, finalised their divorce and decided to up sticks and move on from their former home. The couple picked up the luxurious home in 2016, for $36.5 million (£30m) from actor Richard Gere.

Rapper and record producer Dr. Dre has put his mansion in the Woodland Hills neighbourhood in Los Angeles on the market for $5.2 million (£4.2m). The star is hoping to double his investment on the property after owning it for more than 20 years and buying it for just under $2.4 million (£2m).
