Singer, songwriter and actress Bette Midler has put her impressive New York City penthouse on the market for the staggering sum of $50 million (£40.6m). With views over Central Park, the star and her family have lived in the plush property for more than 20 years, but have decided now's the time to up sticks and move on.

With a huge 7,000-square-foot interior, plus an extra 3,000 square feet of outdoor space, the penthouse sits at the top of 1125 Fifth Avenue, occupying the building's 15th,16th and 17th floors. The regal living space sits on the middle level, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic views over Central Park.

Supermodel starlet of the 80s Cheryl Tiegs has put her longtime home in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles on the market for $18.5 million (£15m). The third time it's been listed in six years, the model attempted to sell the property back in 2013 and again in 2015. Having originally purchased the lavish home in 1996 for a mere $2.5 million (£2m), the 72-year-old is set to make a huge profit.

The Balinese-inspired home has nearly 4,800 square feet of accommodation and features high-gloss wooden floors, rich jewel-toned decor and sumptuous velvet furniture. Elegant wooden beams in the living room support a soaring cathedral ceiling, which has been covered in grass cloth to complete the exotic scheme.

A-lister couple Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have put their modern home in Venice, Los Angeles, on the market for $3.5 million (£2.8m). Sitting in 27 acres of private land, it's located at the edge of Cetona, a quiet, traditional Tuscan town. Valentino has owned the property with his partner, Giancarlo Giammetti for the past 33 years, using it as an idyllic summer getaway.
