Singer, songwriter and fashion designer, Pharrell Williams has put his glass-fronted mansion on the market for $17 million (£13.8m). Sitting at the top of a private bluff in the Beverly Hills Post Office area of Los Angeles, the star purchased the home just under two years ago for $15.6 million (£12.7m) from producer Tyler Perry. 

Sitting at the end of a 200-foot driveway, the home has more than 17,000 square feet of interior space, and with 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms isn't short of space. The expansive living space features polished marble floors, towering walls of glass and a multi-level ceiling, while outside on the balcony sits a small bar area. Perfect for a drink overlooking the jaw-dropping views.

The unconventionally-shaped dining room, which could easily be mistaken for a corporate meeting space, features a huge chandelier crafted from chunks of raw crystal. However, if relaxed dining is more your thing, there's less formal dining space in the kitchen.

Hollywood actress, Anne Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman have listed their mind-blowing penthouse in New York for $3.5 million (£2.9m). The couple bought the Upper West Side apartment for $2.5 million (£2m) four years ago and have recently renovated it into a stylish, sleek home. 

With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the apartment is perched atop a Neo-Georgian mansion and inside has the perfect blend of modern and classic style. The fresh new design incorporates original mouldings, new white oak floors in a herringbone pattern and marble fireplaces. Recently retired Olympian, Lindsey Vonn, has put her modern home in Sherman Oaks on the market for $3 million (£2.4m). The alpine skiing champion must be looking for elsewhere to relax in her retirement than the two-storey home which she bought in 2017 for $2.6 million (£2.1m).

Melissa McCarthy has added to her celebrity property portfolio in the San Fernando Valley by purchasing this single-storey farmhouse for $2.4 million (£2m). It may be smaller than her custom-built mansion but, located on a leafy street, the dark grey home has all the luxury amenities the actress would need. 

Inside, the relaxed-style home features honey-toned hardwood floors, wall panelling and an integrated speaker system. The open-concept living area has a seating space with built-in shelving and just next door, a spacious kitchen. Michelle Pfeiffer and her husband David E. Kelly paid a huge $22.3 million (£18.2m) in an off-market deal for a brand new mansion in LA's Pacific Palisades. The jaw-dropping new mansion, which was never listed for sale, was designed by Steve Giannetti, who specialises in classical-style mansions with a modern twist. 

With more than 10,300 square feet of space, the newly-built house has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms as well as a four-car garage. After getting engaged to pop star Katy Perry on Valentine's Day 2019, Orlando Bloom put his Beverley Hills bachelor pad, which is a far cry from a hobbit home, on the market for $9 million (£7.2m). However, The Lord of the Rings star can't seem to shift the property and has recently reduced the price to $8 million (£6.5m), so is set to make $1 million (£800k) from the sale after buying it for $7 million (£5.7m) around three years ago.

Tan France, best known for his fashion role in Netflix's Queer Eye, bought this 1920s Spanish villa above Sunset Strip for $2.5 million (£2m). Set along a winding road, the home is secure behind wrought-iron gates and features a fairy tale-esque vine-covered wall. 

The three-bed, three-and-a-half bathroom home has 3,000 square feet of interior space. The living area features a parquet floor and rough-hewn wooden beams across the ceiling, while the tiled fireplace only adds to the rustic appeal. The star purchased the home, which comes with four acres of land, for just under $4 million (£3.3m). Completely hidden from prying eyes, the estate sits at the end of a driveway, secured behind gates. 

Built in 1939, the ranch-style main house has more than 5,000 square feet of living space, and includes hardwood floors throughout. On the lower floor sits a huge kitchen with granite countertops as well as this amazing living space, which features an arched fireplace in the centre.

Overall there are five bedrooms and four bathrooms in the main house. This marble ensuite bathroom features a walk-in shower, bath and huge vanity unit, giving a taste of the luxury spread throughout the home.

There’s also a shed-like guesthouse with its own bathroom and two bedrooms. Other estate amenities include a recently-installed swimming pool with an inset spa and stone patio surround, sprawling lawns and a circular motor court.
