That isn’t all the island offers, though. There’s a nine-hole golf course, two flood-lit tennis courts, a games room, a gym and a glistening pool, along with a gazebo with a built-in sound system, a barbecue area and a wood-fired pizza oven.

There’s even a jetty suited for swimming and fishing and a dock that can accommodate a large 50-foot (15m) boat or four smaller vessels. Plus, the separate two-bedroom cottage and bunkhouse that sleeps 11 are ideal for guests.

Entirely self-sufficient, the island also has a solar system with a backup generator, an on-site borehole, as well as sand-filtered underground fresh water and a water tank for all your drinking needs.
