Alongside a $10 million (£8.26m) 26-acre estate in North Salem and his long term residence at a 49-acre compound in Pound Ridge, Gere reportedly, according to Dirt, snapped up this idyllic estate for $10.8 million (£8.9m) earlier this year. Located in Fairfield County, it is approximately a one hour train ride from Manhattan. Built in 1938, the main house was designed by architect Harold Reeve Sleeper and looks out across rolling hills and its own private pond.
