After rising to fame on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian Barker has amassed a property portfolio worth $20 million (£16m). Since dating Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, who she married in May 2022, the reality star has been splitting her time between her homes in Palm Springs and Calabasas. The couple spent New Year's Eve at Travis's Calabasas pad, where they now live together. Kourtney shared this snap of them in the kitchen enjoying a glass of fizz as they rang in 2022.

In May 2022, Travis invited Architectural Digest round for a tour. The modern and minimalist home was given a thorough makeover, courtesy of Los Angeles interior designer Waldo Fernandez, who was referred to Barker by his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner. The kitchen has to be one of the home's most inspiring spaces, thanks to its monochrome colour palette, panelled walls, Sub-Zero & Wolf appliances and designer pendant lights. 

Also no stranger to lavish abodes, singer and actor Jennifer Lopez owns her fair share of stunning homes, including a gorgeous mansion in Bel Air. The home features a large family kitchen, which is a great social space for the Lopez family, as highlighted in these stills from a video J.Lo posted on Instagram for Halloween 2021. In the hilarious clip, the singer struggles to make chocolate-covered popsicles with her twins, Max and Emme.

The light-filled kitchen is certainly the heart of the home and features white cabinetry, a dramatic atrium roof lantern and a long central island. The star bought the mansion in August 2016 for $28 million (£23m), making it one of her most enduring property investments. Built in 1940, the 14,000-square-foot home was designed by architect Samuel Marx and comes with its own pub, two guest cottages, an amphitheatre with seating for 100 people, a wood-panelled library and a massage room.

Almost two years after they tied the knot, Hailey and Justin Bieber snapped up this home in the Beverly Park area of Los Angeles, featuring a sleek white and grey kitchen. A keen cook, Hailey Bieber regularly takes to Instagram to share photos of herself at home, especially during pizza night, which takes place in the Bieber home once a month. For Thanksgiving 2020, the famous supermodel even shared a snap of the turkey she'd lovingly prepared for her family. 

Framed by statement glass pendant lights, the culinary heart of the home includes silver subway tiles, state-of-the-art appliances and a large preparation island, complete with a sociable breakfast bar. The pair shelled out $25.8 million (£21m) for the supersized house in August 2020. The 10,000-square-foot property has seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a two-storey grand hallway, a formal living room, a gym, movie theatre, an infinity-edge swimming pool and a full-sized tennis court.

Property fans may already know that iconic sports star Shaquille O'Neal is somewhat of a property mogul. Over the years, the retired NBA player has bought and sold an array of luxurious homes across America – including this mega-mansion just outside Orlando, Florida. Shaq bought the residence in the 1990s for just under $4 million (£3.3m) and sold up in October 2021 for $11 million (£9m). The home's kitchen was a key hang-out spot for his family, and Shaq regularly took to social media to share videos of himself cooking, relaxing or hanging out with his family in the space.

A keen chef, the culinary heart of Shaq's former home is decked out with commercial-grade appliances, a vast refrigerator, a black central island and contrasting white cabinetry. The luxe 31,000-square-foot mansion also offers an adjoining dining room that can accommodate 16 guests, along with 12 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a range of amazing extras, such as a cigar bar, a sound-proofed theatre, an aquarium room and an indoor basketball court known as the 'Shaq Center'. 

Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis bought their first marital home in the Coldwater Canyon area of Beverly Hills in 2014 for $10.2 million (£8.2m). Ashton documented the family's many years at the house on Instagram, sharing these two images on separate occasions. One shows Mila tucking into a treat in the open-plan kitchen and living area, while the other shows Ashton attempting to fix the refrigerator. 

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home offers a living room, a formal dining room and a huge white kitchen. The light-filled culinary space features traditional cabinetry with glitzy gold hardware, a mix of vintage and modern appliances, plus a breakfast nook and dining island. Elsewhere, there's a temperature-controlled wine room, a gym, a sauna, and a lagoon-style swimming pool. Ashton and Mila waved goodbye to the home in January 2022, selling up for $10.4 million (£8.9m).

In early 2019, movie star Jennifer Garner began renting a Pacific Palisades mansion while undertaking extensive renovations to her new rundown cottage in Brentwood Park, LA. The luxurious celebrity rental, where she'll no doubt remain until her new property is complete, spans almost 11,000 square feet and features this modern, farmhouse-inspired kitchen. During lockdown, the 13 Going on 30 star baked cookies in the space and delivered them to the doctors and nurses battling the Covid-19 pandemic in South California.

The impressive room comes complete with sleek white tiles, marble surfaces, a huge island, double ovens and endless cabinets. The star also regularly takes to Instagram to share hilarious videos of her #PretendCookingShow, where she whips up various goodies for her fans to recreate at home. As well as a stylish culinary hub, the residence also offers six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, formal living rooms, and an elegant library.

Fans of pop star Taylor Swift will know she's somewhat of a real estate tycoon and she spends her time between Los Angeles, Rhode Island, London and New York. In early 2014, the Evermore singer snapped up two lavish penthouses in the Manhattan neighbourhood of Tribeca, paying $20 million (£16.5m) for the privilege. Over the years, the legendary pop star has shared glimpses of the home and its beautiful kitchen, including this snap of her baking some Valentine's Day cookies with a lucky fan. 

Framed by a stunning wood-beamed ceiling, the stylish marble kitchen is the perfect place for hosting relaxed dinner parties and whipping up home-cooked meals thanks to its large range cooker. Rustic touches, including the industrial brick wall, grained wood floor and metal cooker hood, balance out the sleek state-of-the-art appliances. Combined, Swift's duplex apartment covers some 8,300 square feet – pricey real estate in the space-starved Big Apple!

Friends star Matthew Perry has owned plenty of stunning homes over his years in the limelight, but in August 2020 he downsized to this modern Pacific Palisades cottage. Covering approximately 3,000 square feet, the mid-century modern home was built in 1965 and boasts sleek oak floors, recessed LED lighting and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass. When it comes to the layout, there's an open-plan lounge, four bedrooms and a contemporary kitchen.

The beautiful kitchen offers a concrete breakfast bar, matte grey and white cabinetry, and a relaxed dining table that can seat six people. Unique touches include the wall-mounted hanging rails for displaying pans and pots, an indoor vertical vegetable garden and a towering wine rack that stretches all the way to the ceiling. Perry paid $6 million (£4.9m) for the stunning home and we can certainly see why!

In September 2020, celebrity power couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen swapped their 90210 starter home, which was once owned by Rihanna, with a newly-built mansion in the heart of Beverly Hills. The couple paid $17.5 million (£14m) for the place, which offers 10,700 square feet of living space, seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. What's more, the home's sprawling kitchen is the perfect spot for keen cook and self-confessed foodie, Chrissy.

Chrissy has released a number of cookbooks and even has her own kitchenware range at Target, so we always knew she’d have a beautiful space to practice in. The bright kitchen comes with a huge central island, stunning white marble walls, a long preparation island, bespoke storage units and dual ovens.

In November 2017, American actor and producer, Eva Longoria, paid $13.5 million (£11m) for a dreamy mansion in Beverley Hill. Sprawling more than 11,000 square feet, the property boasts eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a vaulted entry, formal living rooms, a breakfast room, wine cellar, tasting room, a pool and a tennis court, all with canyon views. There's also a luxe kitchen. In fact, this home has three – the main culinary space, a separate staff kitchen and an outdoor kitchen for alfresco cooking.

The principal kitchen dazzles with sleek, handless grey units and a dramatic white peninsula that accommodates a breakfast bar and preparation zone. A keen cook, the former Desperate Housewives star regularly posts photos and videos on Instagram, whipping up dishes for her family or shaking cocktails. The actor also has her very own cookbook, Eva's Kitchen: Cooking with Love for Family and Friends.

After selling his former home to movie mega-star Leonardo DiCaprio, actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson upgraded to a truly stunning modern mansion in the Encino neighbourhood of LA in 2021, and it's safe to say his new kitchen will be well used. Currently the host of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Jesse has also just released his very own cookbook, Food Between Friends, with recipe developer Julie Tanous. So it's really no wonder the TV star knows a thing or two about interior design, and what it takes to create a gorgeous kitchen.

Jesse's kitchen has a distinctly Scandi vibe, featuring streamlined, light wood cabinetry and a stunning pine-clad ceiling. The marble splashback is home to open shelving, while the centre island offers extra space to prep delicious meals. The Modern Family actor paid $8.7 million (£6.9m) for the place, which features more than 9,000 square feet of inside space, including seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and dreamy living areas.

Former soap opera actor and Selling Sunset realtor Chrishell Stause has fast become the Netflix show's most popular star. After splitting from This Is Us actor Justin Hartley, Chrishell moved into a rental before putting down $3.3 million (£2.7m) on this four-bedroom bungalow in the heart of the Hollywood Hills. The house boasts around 3,330 square feet of inside space, with a light, free-flowing floorplan that leads out to a gorgeous backyard with city views.

Chrishell's kitchen is spacious and modern, with top-of-the-line appliances from Sub Zero & Wolf, a double stove and a connecting dining space. As nice as the room is, it seems the reality TV star won't be spending too much time actually using the kitchen. In January 2022, she posted a video on Instagram explaining that while she didn't inherit the cooking gene, she gets plenty of use out of her kitchen – using it as a backdrop for all of her social media posts.

KISS star Gene Simmons purchased this incredible house in 1987 for just shy of $1.4 million (£1.2m), and, according to Robb Report, went on to spend $11 million (£9m) creating the one-of-a-kind mansion. The iconic bassist and co-lead singer is fairly active on social media and regularly posts snaps of his family relaxing at home. Here, his daughter Sophie Simmons can be seen wearing KISS merchandise.

The seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom property's pièce de résistance is the huge chef's kitchen. Finished with hardwood floors, the stunning space is decked out with marble countertops, white cabinetry, a bar and a large walk-in pantry. Simmons said goodbye to his family's long-time home in 2021 when he sold up for $16 million (£13.2m).

The ultimate property flipper, it's sometimes hard to keep up with where Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, are living at any given time. In 2017, the couple paid an astonishing $18.6 million (£15.3m) for a stunning oceanfront mansion in the city of Carpinteria, California, where they lived for almost two years. The sprawling home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, open-plan living spaces, a 900-square-foot guest house and 80 feet of beach frontage. 

At the heart of the home is a contemporary kitchen, equipped with stainless steel counters, sleek white units, dual ovens, and a huge double stove topped with a floating extractor, which Ellen's fans went crazy for when she posted a snap on Instagram. In June 2019, the couple decided to wave goodbye to their luxurious home and listed it for a cool $24 million (£19.7m), a 29% increase on their initial investment. 

In 2014, former professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez purchased a stunning mid-century modern home from movie star Meryl Streep, paying $4.8 million (£3.8m), before selling up in 2019 for just $4.4 million (£3.6m). The 3,700-square-foot residence dates back to 1954 and offers an interior filled with clean lines, concrete accents and plenty of rich wood. During his time at the property, the sports star regularly shared footage of the stunning interior, taking to Instagram to show off his fitness regime and recipes for healthy snacks and juices.

The stylish bachelor pad, which A-Rod snapped up before becoming engaged to former love interest Jennifer Lopez, has a luxurious backyard, four bedrooms and a sleek eat-in kitchen. Once the perfect space for the health enthusiast, the stylish wood kitchen comes equipped with endless storage space, a large island, dual stoves and a deluxe wine fridge, ideal for when A-Rod wanted to kick back and enjoy some downtime. 

In 2019, rapper Swizz Beatz and his wife, Grammy Award-winning singer Alicia Keys, snapped up one of the most unusual celebrity homes we've ever seen. Known as Razor House, the pad was designed by architect Wallace E. Cunningham and completed in 2007. Both stars regularly share images of their home online, but Swizz is certainly the more candid of the two. While the image on the left shows the couple giving a guided tour of their home, the one on the right shows their youngest son, Genesis, attempting to steal muffins.

The incredible clifftop home spreads almost 11,000 square feet and has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, various lounges and an all-black kitchen, with handleless units and floor-to-ceiling glass walls that frame breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Strip lighting illuminates the industrial-inspired space, highlighting the exposed concrete walls. The pair paid $20.8 million (£17m) for the awe-inspiring home, which can be found overlooking the cinematic landscapes of La Jolla, a coastal neighbourhood in San Diego, California.

Shortly before selling her stylish Toluca Lake estate, pop star Meghan Trainor put down $6.6 million (£5.4m) for a 9,936-square-foot mansion in the LA neighbourhood of Encino in 2020. The VIP-worthy crib has everything from a state-of-the-art recording studio to a mesmerising foyer, complete with a double staircase and custom chandeliers. The All About That Bass singer's home lies in the same part of town as other celebrity musicians, including Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, and she regularly takes to social media to share snaps of herself at home.

The perfect family home for Meghan, her husband Daryl Sabara and their son Riley, the residence has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and, of course, an impressive kitchen – which features high-end appliances, marble counters and endless storage space. Decked out in white and dark grey cabinetry, the space dazzles with a large range cooker and a glittering waterfall-style pendant light above the centre island. 

Ahead of his Manchester United return, Portuguese professional footballer Cristiano Ronaldo bought a multi-million dollar mansion in Cheshire, UK, just down the road from Old Trafford Stadium. The star lives in Cheshire with his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, and their five children. The football icon regularly takes to social media to share glimpses of his home life with his 454 million Instagram followers – in fact, he's the most-followed individual on Instagram, even surpassing every member of the Kardashian clan. 

 The luxurious rural home offers seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, 23 acres of exterior land, a cinema room, indoor swimming pool and gym, not to mention a striking modern kitchen. The space has concrete counters, rich wooden cabinets and plenty of built-in storage, including a wine cooler. An industrial-style light fixture with exposed Edison bulbs frames the breakfast bar, while an exposed brick wall adds to the warehouse vibes.

Pop star and actor Selena Gomez is no stranger to luxurious homes. She's bought and sold a staggering amount of properties over the years, including a colossal mansion in the Encino neighbourhood of Los Angeles, which she snapped up in April 2020 for $4.9 million (£4m). The 11,500-square-foot home was custom-built by the late singer-songwriter Tom Petty and boasts a double-height living room, six bedrooms, a yoga studio, a massage room and a gym, not to mention this striking kitchen.

The spacious room comes complete with high-end appliances, sleek marble countertops, a beamed ceiling and an impressive stove that's nestled inside a whitewashed brick alcove, creating the appearance of a rustic hearth. Selena regularly takes to her social media channels to share snaps of herself at home – especially when she's promoting her HBO Max TV cooking show, Selena + Chef, which is filmed inside the singer's luxurious kitchen.
