This luxurious wooden villa casually sits amongst rainforest acreage in Cairns, Australia and life doesn’t get more private.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home has some pretty spectacular views of the rainforest, so what better way to enjoy them than sitting on this wraparound veranda? You can sit and enjoy your dinner in the company of native birds and padymelons.

Inside, you’ll find gorgeous cathedral ceilings and this large living pavilion, where you can kick back and relax in what feels like a home from home.

But, as you can see, it’s also connected to the veranda, so you’re never too far from the view of the surrounding rainforest and seasonal creek.

The view also follows you to the bedroom, where you can continue to gaze at the nature ahead of you.

Or you can just step outside and be fully immersed in it. The neighborhood is tree-lined with other large private houses similarly hidden in the forest and there are a number of bush walking tracks, a rainforestation wildlife park and koala and butterfly sanctuary nearby. Bliss.

Located in the heart of the Yasuní National Park in the sacred lands of the Amazon Rainforest is the Napo Wildlife Center, a community project that aims to help the local community and preserve the flora and fauna of the area.

It consists of 12 spacious cabins like this one, all of which can house a total of 36 people.

The luxury property is also based on its own private street inside a private reserve that’s home to butterflies, sloths, monkeys and toucans. Just imagine waking up to the sound of these tropical animals.

Inside the house are three bedrooms, as well as this beautiful central pavilion, which is perfect for entertaining guests under the thatched roof with plenty of views of the surrounding nature.

Alternatively, you can kick back and relax with a Martini in hand, while gazing out onto the bays ahead of you.

Does life get much better?

There are eight beautiful treehouse rooms to choose from if you choose to vacation at the eco-friendly Canopy Tree House in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest.

Not only will you have views that will melt your heart, you’re also entitled to excursions of your choice including dolphin watching, jungle walks and visits to Amazonian communities.

The minimum stay at the resort is two nights; for a double occupancy room it’s $695 (£558), or $895 (£719) for single occupancy. But if you fancy a longer holiday for five nights and six days to truly experience all the Amazon has to offer you’ll be paying between $1,295 (£1,040) and $1,495 (£1,201).
