The country singer turned pop sensation knows a thing or two about the property market, as she’s racked up quite an impressive portfolio since the start of her music career. One of Swift’s most appealing investments is this Rhode Island, Cape Cod-style mansion, which she bought back in 2013 for $17.8 million (£13.4m).

The 28-year-old singer went on to buy another Cape Cod-inspired home back in 2015, this time in Los Angeles, California. Taylor is really into traditional Americana interior design and has chosen to furnish her home with a combination of vintage furniture and contemporary art pieces.

The singer developed a love affair with New York City back in 2014 when she bought the first of her three Tribeca homes, all of which happen to be located on Franklin Street. Bought for $19.9 million (£15m), the seven-bedroom, five-bathroom building is decorated like a modern loft, with exposed brick walls and wood beam ceilings throughout.

Swift went on to buy an entire New York townhouse on the same block, before splashing $9.8 million (£7.4m) on a two-bedroom penthouse apartment. It’s estimated the singer has spent over $50 million on Franklin Street alone.

It doesn’t stop there, as the all-singing, all-dancing property mogul owns two additional properties in Nashville, a penthouse apartment she bought back in 2009 for $2 million (£1.5m) and a four-bedroom mansion known as the Northumberland Estate, which she bought in 2011 for $2.5 million (£1.9m).

The reality TV star-turned-businesswoman has quite the impressive property portfolio. Kylie bought her first home in Calabasas, California back in 2015 when she was just 17-years-old. She sold her $2.6 million (£2m) ‘starter home’ a year later in exchange for the first of her Hidden Hills investments.

Kylie purchased the $6 million (£4.5m) luxury pad in Hidden Hills to be closer to her mother and sisters. Built in 2014, the six-bedroom property contains a spacious open-plan communal area with a chef’s kitchen, wine cellar, pool and a four-car garage.

Last but not least here's the youngest member of the Kardashian clan’s latest splurge, a $12 million (£9m) mansion, also in Hidden Hills and a stone’s throw away from her mother Kris Jenner’s home.

Built in 2015, the eight-bedroom luxury pad contains a white stone kitchen with two marble-topped islands, a cinema room, games room, wet bar, gym and pool. As with her previous Hidden Hills purchase, the property is open-plan and features a sheltered terrace for indoor-outdoor living.

You’ve got to appreciate the simplicity behind her bathroom with its freestanding bath and marble herringbone floors. Kylie recently listed both her Calabasas ‘starter home’ and a third Hidden Hills property for $3.3 million (£2.5m) and $5.4 million (£4m) respectively.

Oprah bought 24 acres of land for $5.3 million (£4m) back in 2003 on which she built her bright and airy holiday home. The house is decorated in an informal American country style and features large French doors and a wraparound veranda for enjoying the sunshine and natural landscape.

Oprah went on to expand on her Hawaiian property portfolio with a 25-acre lot in 2011, which cost her an additional $3 million (£2.3m). At around the same time, she bought a further 13 acres of land and a house for $4.4 million (£3.3m), as well as a set of smaller nearby residences for $4.5 million (£3.4m).

Built in 1959, the property has been styled with traditional American furnishings, following Oprah’s own personal tastes. Now worth $88 million (£66.4m), the neo-Georgian mansion contains six bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, two theatres, a wine cellar, tennis courts, orchards, guest house with pool and a teahouse.

Oprah expanded her luxury estate in 2016 when she purchased a nearby equestrian estate for $29 million (£22m). Set over 23 acres of land and features low-key but luxury lodgings and is a beautiful place to ride and stable horses.
