Housed in a sought-after Art Deco-inspired co-op in New York’s Gramercy Park, this modest one-bedroom apartment belongs to Modern Family actor, Jesse Taylor Ferguson, and his husband Justin Mikita.

The couple purchased the post-war apartment for $1.2 million (£860k) in 2015, decorating the cosy pad with on-trend colours and stylish furnishings, making it one of the most homely celeb properties on the market.

Newly renovated, the Manhattan apartment is available fully furnished and boasts a 24-hour doorman and a gym. Even better, the home sits just moments from the city’s underground network! Despite all this, the apartment has been for sale for over 200 days.

With just one bedroom and two bathrooms, the apartment was built in the 1930s and retains much of the building’s original period features, including white-washed ceiling beams, natural hardwood flooring and intricate glass door handles.

Still on the market, the home could be yours for $1,495,000 (£1.1m) – yet that doesn't include the regular maintenance fee of $1,877, which residents of this building are expected to pay!

After purchasing the property more than a decade ago, singer Anastacia has been trying to sell her Beverly Hills villa for more than two years. Originally listed for $3.65 million (£2.6m), the home is now back on the market for $2.99 million (£2.2m). 

The singer paid $1.7 million (£1.2m) for the glamorous four-bed, seven-bath home, which is spread out over three levels. A large open-plan living and dining area is filled with natural light and uses a stripped-back colour scheme with hints of dark wood throughout.

The master bedroom is a gorgeous space with original period detailing and elegant furnishings, as well as ensuite with dual baths, heated floor tiles and steam showers. On the first floor sits two guest bedrooms and a games room, each with access to the outdoor swimming pool.

The 4,300-square-foot property was built in 1958 and sits on a private estate with a compact yet attractive garden, offering panoramic views of Los Angeles' famous hills.

Ironically, Antonio Banderas' ex-wife, Melanie Griffith, is also struggling her sell her home – a unique chalet in the heart of world-renowned ski resort, Aspen. The traditional property went on the market in April 2018 for $4.8 million (£3.6m), but fast-forward seven months and the home remains unsold. 

The hillside retreat is nestled in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains and has views of the Highland Ridge and Conundrum Valley. With five bedrooms, six bathroom and over 7,300 square feet of internal space, the property would make the perfect holiday escape. 

In an attempt to sell her home, Griffith recently dropped the price to $4.6 million (£3.5m) – a price tag that offers buyers the chance to be part of an exclusive winter community.  ​

Overlooking iconic Central Park in New York City, this luxurious apartment belongs to renowned actor, Antonio Banderas. Even though the home is spectacular in terms of design and location, the property has remained unsold since May 2018.

The four-bedroom pad is on the market for $7.95 million (£6m), almost double the amount that Banderas paid for the home in 2005 with former wife, Melanie Griffith, when he splashed out just under $4 million (£3.1m).

The singer purchased the property in 2013 for $2.8 million (£2.2m), so will make a hefty profit when it finally sells. On a quiet residential cul-de-sac, the home boasts its own private dock, a saltwater swimming pool and two spas.

Despite its dreamy exterior and masses of land, Ben Affleck’s stunning Greek Revival mansion has been on the market for almost six months. With an asking price of $8.9 million (£6.8m), the superior property sits on 87 acres in idyllic Savannah, Georgia.

Listed since May 2018, the award-winning actor’s mansion overlooks the North Newport River, on the ultra-exclusive Hampton Island preserve, an area renowned as the Crown Jewels of Georgia's coastline. Affleck bought the picture-perfect estate for $7.1 million (£5.4m) in 2003, when he was then dating singer and actress, Jennifer Lopez.

The home’s substantial price tag includes three separate buildings: the main mansion known as ‘The Big House’, a Summer Cottage and the 10,000 square foot rustic masterpiece nicknamed the Oyster House.

The Big House is an authentic recreation of a Southern plantation home, built in Greek Revival style with spacious front and rear verandas, pine wood flooring and beautiful arched fireplaces throughout. Covering almost 560 square metres, the mansion offers three bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The estate also offers buyers a dock complex where a 38-foot mahogany fishing boat is permanently moored. In addition, there are equestrian facilities, a private pier and, of course, endless rural views. So, we can't quite work out why this impressive property remains on the market...

Basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal placed his larger-than-life Florida estate on the market for $28 million (£21m) half a year ago. Having bought the property in 1993 for just $4 million (£3m), O'Neal is set to make a truly impressive profit when he manages to sell it.

The property has been expanded and renovated several times over the years and features plenty of luxurious touches, including a 1,200-square-foot great room (complete with a marble fireplace), a home cinema room, a 17-car garage and a private dock.

Measuring 31,000 square feet and offering 12 gigantic bedrooms, the home is full of quirky design references to the basketball star's nickname, Superman, including an emblazoned 15-foot super-sized master bed.

Making the most of the weather provided by the home's location in Lake Butler, Florida, the property is set on three acres of land and features a gorgeous outdoor swimming pool with a rock waterfall and hot tub. A swim-up bar provides access to a sheltered outdoor kitchen and offers impressive landscape views.

Yet the mansion's defining feature is the 'Shaq Center', a huge fitness facility featuring a 6,000 square foot basketball court, complete with bleachers and the Miami Heat logo, making this the perfect pad for sports enthusiasts – and lifelong fans of O'Neal!

Actor Jim Belushi bought this Los Angeles-based estate with his wife Jennifer for $8.3 million (£6m) in 2007. After commissioning architect Oscar Shamamian to redesign the property, and working alongside designer Michael Smith on the interior, the property has been back on the real estate market since 2016.

Originally, Belushi attempted to sell the grand Tuscan-style villa for a staggering $42 million (£32m), but received no takers. In 2017, the actor lowered the price to $38.5 million (£29m), an amount that has also proved unappealing to prospective buyers.

Located in the Brentwood Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles, the property is now listed for $29.9 million (£23m). The delightful property has distinct northern Italian design elements, such as Venetian plaster, giving the home a unique European vibe. 

Inside, the six-bed, 11-bath property is characterised by ornamental ceilings and light fittings, hardwood floors and ornate fireplace mantles. 

Outside lies a full-size pool, a summer house, Jacuzzi and cold plunge pool, providing the perfect space for relaxation in the property's serene gardens. Despite all this, we can't help but think that $30 million is asking slightly too much...
