This spectacular 76-storey skyscraper is located in Chicago’s Grant Park and was designed by Rafael Viñoly. Measuring 1,321,415 square foot, NEMA will be the city’s tallest residential building, offering unparalleled views of its famous skyline and Lake Michigan.

The building will have a wealth of technology built into it, with smart elevators that group riders according to their destination, a Bluetooth security system, and wifi-everywhere for both residents and guests. For those who choose to call the tower home, a handy mobile app will control everything from rent payments to maintenance requests.

Designed by PLP Architecture, smart technology features throughout this 913-foot tower. Access will be by face recognition and occupants can use an app to control their working environment, book services and connect socially with other workers. Offices are now being leased by JLL.

When finished, this striking tower is expected to be the third tallest building in China and the fourth tallest in the world. Standing 2,087 feet tall with 119 levels, the structure will include offices, luxury apartments, a five-star hotel and a private penthouse club.

Its tapered shape, rounded corners, and domed top, designed by architects Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill, will reduce the wind resistance that typically builds up around other supertall buildings. This means that its structure can be built using fewer materials, creating a smaller carbon footprint than similar projects.

The skyscraper's three corners rise up to form an arched glass dome that allows light to flood down into the tower. Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill's interiors studio is designing the building’s public spaces inside to reflect the building’s conical shape and sweeping lines.

The first tower will house offices and the Hilton Garden Inn, while the second will house apartments and a range of retail spaces. Lucky residents of the sky-high apartments will be able to enjoy the building’s luxury swimming pool, gym, lounge, bar and business centre.

Originally, the main tower was only intended to reach a height of 876 feet, but it’s said that the architect in charge at Pozas Arquitectos wanted it to be the tallest structure of its kind in Latin America, not just Mexico.

The 1,312-foot China Resources Headquarters tower, designed by architects KPF, was completed in January 2019. Its tapered shape was inspired by a bamboo shoot, while its clever pre-fabricated steel structure means that the interior is column-free.

Designed by SimpsonHaugh, the building has a distinctive dual façade – the smooth outer skin is made up of 5,476 glass panels, while the inner façade consists of coloured panels. In between the two are enclosed balconies that give residents valuable extra living space.

Once complete, the South Tower will be the tallest building in Manchester, overtaking Beetham Tower, and the second tallest residential tower in the UK. There will be a spa, swimming pool, sports hall, gym and rooftop garden for Deansgate Square residents to enjoy.

The complex was designed by architects SimpsonHaugh and will contain an impressive 1,508 homes. Deansgate Square will also house a spectacular riverside plaza and a public square for markets and events, plus a cinema and gym, along with plenty of restaurants and shops.

Designed by Noel Robinson Architects (NRA), the high-rise will offer spectacular panoramic views across Brisbane's cityscape. It will also boast Australia’s highest infinity-edge swimming pool. The Brisbane Skytower is one of two skyscrapers on the development – the other will house a 42-storey Westin hotel.

The original Steinway Hall building dating back to 1925, this historic structure is being converted into residences and extended with the addition of a brand new tower designed by SHoP Architects. Both structures will be home to lavish apartments featuring interiors designed by Studio Sofield.
