Eva Longoria owns this sprawling Hollywood Hills estate, comprised of a French country-style villa and charming stone house. Outside there's a couple of detached studios, a small cottage and a lagoon-style swimming pool. She purchased it from Tom Cruise in 2015 and it’s currently on the market again. We wonder which Hollywood star will move in next?

Actress Elisha Cuthbert has recently started renting out her house in the Hollywood Hills, right behind the notorious celebrity hangout Chateau Marmont. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms plus amazing views thanks to its elevated position, it's a fantastic find for some lucky tenant.

Katy Perry likes the neighbourhood so much she once owned two homes here! The side-by-side properties in Runyon Canyon are decked out for that luxe LA indoor/outdoor lifestyle with a pool, spa, poolside cabana and pizza oven. Perhaps cleaning two houses got tiresome for Katy, she sold the larger of the two properties to restaurateur Michael Chow for a cool $9 million in March 2019.

The name is apt; Studio City is home to both a major television and movie studio. So, it's no surprise that the neighbourhood is popular with actors looking for a short commute. There's also a great Sunday Farmers' Market and excellent schools, making it a popular choice for stars with families. George Clooney famously owns a house here, as well as Bruno Mars and it's been the home to many more famous faces over the years.

This Mediterranean-inspired residence was home to actress Vanessa Hudgens for a full decade, until she sold it in April 2019. During her time here she painted "every inch of the house" and added Moorish decorative touches throughout. The sprawling pad boasts six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and a three-car garage plus a pool and spa, full wet bar and space to lounge in the Californian sun.

The borough of Kensington and Chelsea is the place to live if you're a celebrity looking for a base in London. It's pristine rows of Victorian terraces, manicured gardens and squares are charming, meanwhile the designer boutiques and chic coffee shops are the A-list hangout of choice, as the local residents will attest. The posh postcode is home to Eric Clapton, Robbie Williams and Jimmy Page, among others.

It might not look like much from the outside but Aaron Eckhart's Beverly Hills home boasts views over the ocean, canyon and city below, plus a swimming pool and spa. The Dark Knight actor bought the property in 2002 for about $1.5 million and he's just put it on the market for $3.1 million, so he's set to double his money.

Husband and wife dream team, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen bought this incredible modern Hollywood Hills home in 2016 from the singer Rihanna. Singer and queen of our hearts, Adele has just snapped up this modest five-bedroom, six-bathroom house for $10.6 million in a very exclusive enclave of Beverly Hills. It's said the house is meant for her estranged husband Simon Konecki, as the soul diva herself lives in a very private mansion just up the road, one of her multiple properties around the world. Living in close proximity are her illustrious neighbours Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher and Cameran Diaz. 

Jennifer Lawrence lives in this gorgeous French-style abode in Beverly Hills. The house has a star-studded past and has also belonged to Jessica Simpson, Paul Hogan, Ellen DeGeneres, Rick Yorn and Tom Freston. Phew!

Another member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan with a property empire, model Kendall Jenner snapped up Charlie Sheen's old mansion in Beverly Hills in October 2017. The six-bedroom Spanish-influenced residence was built in 1991 and features a chef's kitchen, movie theatre, swimming pool and a tennis court. 

With its historic Art Deco good looks, plethora of restaurants and easy ocean access, it's easy to see why celebs flock to Miami Beach. The southern end, with its characterful pastel-coloured buildings, is particularly popular with A-listers; Matt Damon, Julio Iglesias and J-Lo all have houses here. And who can blame them?

Legendary singer Cher lived at this property at Key Biscayne in the mid-1990s. One of a slew of houses in her multi-millionaire dollar property portfolio, the singer worked with a designer to completely rebuild and revamp the property into a Renaissance-style home. Our favourite part? The heated beach-front pool and spa.  

DJ Khaled recently bought this Miami mansion for $25.9 million in December 2018 – complete with 105 feet of waterfront and a private dock on Indian Creek. Inside the five-bedroom house has been decked out with designer finishes and outside there's a manicured lawn, fountains and ponds and an 80-foot pool and spa.

Nestled on Miami Beach’s prestigious North Bay Road, Shakira has owned this waterfront property since 2001. Currently up for sale, the property features custom-designed furniture, a fitness room and entertainment wing. Outside there's a swimming pool and dining cabana with wet bar, plus the palm trees just scream Miami.
