Singer, songwriter and fashion designer, Pharrell Williams has put his glass-fronted mansion on the market for $17 million (£13.8m). Sitting at the top of a private bluff in the Beverly Hills Post Office area of Los Angeles, the star purchased the home just under two years ago for $15.6 million (£12.7m) from producer Tyler Perry. 

Sitting at the end of a 200-foot driveway, the home has more than 17,000 square feet of interior space, and with 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms isn't short of space. The expansive living space features polished marble floors, towering walls of glass and a multi-level ceiling, while outside on the balcony sits a small bar area. Perfect for a drink overlooking the jaw-dropping views.

Outside, the incredible backyard is just as luxurious as the main house. A sunken kitchen and bar area is overlooked by a terrace, which sits atop the five-car garage. Deeper into the grounds, waterfalls pour into several swimming pools and small lagoons which also feature a slide and spa grotto. 

After releasing her new album in January, singer Kesha purchased this modern home in the expensive Westside neighbourhood in Los Angeles for $5 million (£4m). Built in 2019, the nearly 6,000 square foot home has a sleek wood and concrete exterior, with an interior that's just as impressive. Let's take a look inside...

The master suite sits in a private wing of the home and is the ideal retreat with a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom and a skylight that basks it in natural light. Outside is perfect for entertaining with a second dining space and lounging areas, making it a relaxing oasis.

Love a converted farm building? Then this modern farmhouse purchased by film star Meg Ryan in the seaside enclave of Montecito for $5 million (£4m) is the perfect inspiration. Set behind electric gates, the private home has mountain views and sits in one-and-a-half acres of land, making it an idyllic retreat for the actress. 

The approximately 4,100 square foot farmhouse has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The main living space has a rough-cut fireplace as its focal point and features dark hardwood floors, wooden ceiling beams and a row of panelled French doors that only add to the rustic charm. Open-plan to the living room sits the kitchen with a large island, breakfast bar and a walk-in pantry.

Recently retired Olympian, Lindsey Vonn, has put her modern home in Sherman Oaks on the market for $3 million (£2.4m). The alpine skiing champion must be looking for elsewhere to relax in her retirement than the two-storey home which she bought in 2017 for $2.6 million (£2.1m). 

The five-bed, four-and-a-half-bath house has just over 4,000 square feet of luxurious interior space. The ground floor has successfully mastered open-concept living with high ceilings and exposed beams, while a whole wall of French doors are perfect for indoor-outdoor living, bathing the living room and kitchen in natural light.

Melissa McCarthy has added to her celebrity property portfolio in the San Fernando Valley by purchasing this single-storey farmhouse for $2.4 million (£2m). It may be smaller than her custom-built mansion but, located on a leafy street, the dark grey home has all the luxury amenities the actress would need. 

A bay area, just off the living room is lined with simple wood panelling and features a huge centre skylight, which makes up for the lack of windows. It's the perfect setting for entertaining and intimate dinners.

Michelle Pfeiffer and her husband David E. Kelly paid a huge $22.3 million (£18.2m) in an off-market deal for a brand new mansion in LA's Pacific Palisades. The jaw-dropping new mansion, which was never listed for sale, was designed by Steve Giannetti, who specialises in classical-style mansions with a modern twist. 

With more than 10,300 square feet of space, the newly-built house has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms as well as a four-car garage. These renderings of the home, show an open-plan living space with bi-fold doors that open out to the swimming pool. With neutral décor in a modern style, light hardwood floors run throughout.

The back garden stretches out over manicured lawns. Ideal for indoor-outdoor living, the living room leads out to the infinity pool surrounded by stone tiles and sun loungers.

After getting engaged to pop star Katy Perry on Valentine's Day 2019, Orlando Bloom put his Beverley Hills bachelor pad, which is a far cry from a hobbit home, on the market for $9 million (£7.2m). However, The Lord of the Rings star can't seem to shift the property and has recently reduced the price to $8 million (£6.5m), so is set to make $1 million (£800k) from the sale after buying it for $7 million (£5.7m) around three years ago. 

The courtyard, which was completely redesigned, features wooden decking and a modern zero-edge swimming pool. If that wasn't enough, it also features a spa and an open fire pit for the ultimate in relaxation.

Tan France, best known for his fashion role in Netflix's Queer Eye, bought this 1920s Spanish villa above Sunset Strip for $2.5 million (£2m). Set along a winding road, the home is secure behind wrought-iron gates and features a fairy tale-esque vine-covered wall. 

Celebrity couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen built this rural retreat back in 2015 in the quaint town of Brookline, Massachusetts. The quarterback and model first listed their grand home in September 2019 for the hefty sum of $39.5 million (£32.2m). However, after more than six months trying to sell up, they have reduced the price to $33.9 million (£27.6m). The pair paid out $4.5 million (£3.6m) for the five-acre plot in 2013 – a steal considering what the estate is worth now.

Framed by oak beams, the couple's kitchen is a modern farmhouse dream, from the period-style range cooker to the vast marble-topped island fitted with barn-style cupboard doors. The star purchased the home, which comes with four acres of land, for just under $4 million (£3.3m). Completely hidden from prying eyes, the estate sits at the end of a driveway, secured behind gates. 

There’s also a shed-like guesthouse with its own bathroom and two bedrooms. Other estate amenities include a recently-installed swimming pool with an inset spa and stone patio surround, sprawling lawns and a circular motor court.
