Everybody say yeah – Mr Motivator raffles off his £1.8m Caribbean estate

Best known for his loud spandex outfits and inspirational workouts, TV’s Mr Motivator is now raffling off his Caribbean estate to one lucky winner

Rising to fame in the early 1990s with his unique fitness sessions on GMTV, Derrick Errol Evans, AKA Mr Motivator, brought many a smile to breakfast TV and occasionally encouraged us to get up off the sofa and do some exercise.

It clearly paid off as now 25 years later the TV personality – renowned for his lairy dress sense and trademark bum bag – is something of an entrepreneur and is raffling off his sprawling Caribbean estate, worth £1.87m.

Despite having a hugely successful TV career, Mr Motivator moved back to his native Jamaica in 2003. Since then, he has split his time between Jamaica and the UK and he and his wife Sandra now want to relocate back to the UK permanently to be closer to their youngest daughter.

The 28-acre resort, which currently operates as the H'Evans Scent Adventure Park, complete with its own paintball zone and zip wire – he clearly practises what he preaches – will be awarded to the winning raffle-ticket holder when it is drawn on 14 January 2019.

As well as winning the estate in the hills of St Ann on the north side of Jamaica, which comes with a six-bed home with pool, a separate private three-bed house and a seven-bed apartment block, the winner will also receive a £31,000 cash prize to get them started as caretaker of this unique place.

In addition, Mr Motivator will be on hand for the firs three months to help the new owner get a handle on running an adventure tourism business.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning this prize, you need to buy a Golden Ticket (£23 a piece but no minimum sales target) before the raffle closes on 13 January 2019. The ticket will be drawn the following day.
