Calling all Peter Pan fans! A charming half-timbered playhouse in the Cotswolds is up for grabs – complete with exposed beams, lattice windows and wooden floors.

The Tudor-style tiny dwelling is expected to fetch between £12,000 and £15,000, plus the cost of transporting it to its new location, at Chorley's two-day auction in Gloucestershire on the 17 and 18 September.

Picturesque setting

The little house is nestled in the parkland setting of the beautiful Prinknash Bird and Deer Park, which is set to close this autumn.

The park was created in 1974 by local artist and cartoonist Philip Meigh and is shared with a plethora of carefully chosen creatures, including pygmy goats, miniature Mediterranean donkeys, deer and waterfowl. 

The charming dwelling has thought to have entertained half a million children over the 20 years since it was brought to the park from a salvage yard in 1989.

Childhood dreamland

Inside the quaint two-storey property, you'll find leaded style windows, dark wooden flooring and a narrow staircase that leads to a cosy bedroom and the property is outfitted with electricity. 

Downstairs, the house measures a tiny  72 square feet and the whole structure is just 13 feet tall.

According to the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire Standard, the home offers ''the unique opportunity for another public attraction or a private individual to acquire a stunning area for children's parties or perhaps a spot of quiet contemplation for a (small) adult."
