Primark

Primark (or as we're still jokingly calling it ‘Primarni’) has long been our go-to for mega-packs of tights, value cosmetics and an instant wardrobe refresh. But because you can’t really argue with big cosy cushions for under a fiver, Primark is also the place for chic-but-affordable home accessory updates.

Debenhams

Debenhams is renowned for its fashion collaborations, but you can also nab a designer bargain in the homes department. Big names including J by Jasper Conran, Abigail Ahern/EDITION and MW by Matthew Williamson are in-store and won’t break the bank.

H&M

ABBA, meatballs, hygge – the Swedes have always brought us enduring lifestyle trends. Now Swedish fashion house H&M are upping their game when it comes to Scandi cool interiors, thanks to their homewares available in larger stores nationwide. This spring it’s all about the blush pink and grey.

French Connection

Quality furniture pieces and natural finishes in wood, marble and leather are the cornerstones of French Connection’s homeware collection. Think modern, bright and airy and while it's not cheap, these are keep forever pieces.

House of Fraser

House of Fraser gets the regal stamp of approval – the department store has a royal warrant for supplying household goods to the Queen. So it’s no surprise you’ll find great British names such as bedding brand Bedeck as well as House of Fraser’s in-house Biba range of 1960s inspired accessories.

Oliver Bonas 

In addition to cracking greetings cards and fashion pieces, Oliver Bonas has some stunning home accessories, whether you’re after small items such as colourful wine glasses or bigger items like chairs. Their lighting range is worth checking out: you'll find a boutique selection of floor, ceiling, side and wall lights.

Urban Outfitters

Since the mid-1980s it’s been the out-of-town store for budget clothing and now Matalan’s had a seriously chic modern makeover. Many of the 200 stores have been revamped to make shopping easier and the homewares in stock are great quality for the price.

Zara Home

Zara’s smart fashion staples aren’t just for the office, the Spanish brand’s home collections are equally as chic. The latest items in-store feature floral and fern prints with every detail covered from candles to coffee tables. Plus there’s also a dedicated collection for children’s bedrooms too.
