Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone has relisted his celebrity holiday retreat in La Quinta, California for $3.4 million (£2.8m). The star acquired the property almost a decade ago and has since tried to offload it a number of times since 2011, with the house being on and off the market since, with declining asking prices. 

Actress sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning have decided to list their luxurious but low-key home in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles for $2.7 million (£2.2m). Located in a private gated lane in the Valley Village neighbourhood, the duo bought the East Coast-style home around three years ago for $2.3 million (£1.9m). 

Inside, the home has 4,600 square feet of space and features a mixture of traditional details with modern additions. The formal living room features a marble-clad fireplace and French doors which open out onto the porch. The formal dining room, with blue brocade wallpaper, sits alongside the all-white kitchen, a sunny breakfast nook and second living space. 

The six-bed, six-bathroom home has five bedrooms on the upper floor, and one on the lower level. The pretty master suite features a fireplace, large terrace which overlooks the garden, the ultimate celebrity walk-in wardrobe lined with floor-to-ceiling glass-fronted wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom, perfect for any Hollywood star. 

Moroccan-American rapper, French Montana, has listed his glamorous estate on the outskirts of Calabasas for $5.6 million (£5m). Originally on the market earlier this year for $6 million (£4.9m), the star has dropped the price of the home that he picked up from pop sensation Selena Gomez four years ago for $3.3 million (£2.7m). 

The 7,800-square-foot property includes the main house plus an extra studio with a kitchen and bathroom. Just inside the grand front door sits a secret stone-walled wine cave, with the double-height living room further down the hallway. The high-end kitchen, the media lounge and recording studio with disco lighting are also on the ground floor. 

The more than three-acre estate also doesn't go without a backyard oasis. It features a sunken patio, a dining cabana and a brick pizza oven for enjoying alfresco meals. Privacy also isn't a worry for the next owner as the ultra-safe home is built like a fortress with a full security system, which includes motion detectors, cameras and panic buttons in every room. 

America actor Jason Segel has listed his 1920s Mediterranean-style home, that's in the popular area of Los Feliz in Los Angeles, for $2.8 million (£2.3m). The star bought the home back in 2016 for $2.2 million (£1.9m), which was more than $400,000 (£324k) above the original asking price. 

Coming in at 2,500 square feet, the three-storey home still has many of its original architectural details including the colourful tiles and the exposed wood-beamed ceiling. On the ground floor, the step-down living room is framed by three arched windows, while the separate formal dining room features a striking pressed tin ceiling. Just next door is the galley kitchen, complete with a chic adjoining breakfast nook. 

Scattered around the property, the four bedrooms include a spacious master suite with a large sitting room located through a picturesque arch. There are two guest bedrooms on the lower level, while in the basement sits an extra room with its very own entrance.

The grounds feature several tree-shaded terraces which zig-zag down the steep hillside, with the lowest having an incredible outdoor kitchen and built-in dining area. With pretty fairy lights, this picturesque spot would be perfect come evening. 

Pop star Kelly Clarkson has listed her mansion in the Encino neighbourhood of Los Angeles for $10 million (£8.1m), having bought the estate less than two years ago. The rustic-style main house, which is secured behind gates in half an acre of land, is partly clad in reclaimed wood and secure behind private gates – ideal for any star!

The huge home has more than 9,800 square feet of space with a total of eight bedrooms, nine full and two half bathrooms. The formal living and dining rooms both feature wood-panelled accent walls and wooden ceiling beams that contrast against the modern interior. The family room is open-plan with a glamorous kitchen, which has huge islands and top-end appliances. 

Located upstairs, the sprawling master bedroom offers a private patio, a sitting room, a dressing room and walk-in wardrobe, as well as a marble-floored ensuite bathroom. Finished off with a patterned tile fireplace and a showstopping wooden headboard, the unique room is the perfect retreat to relax and rest at the end of the day.

The expansive turfed grounds are shielded by tall trees for the ultimate in privacy. With a swimming pool and spa, fire pit and a sheltered outdoor kitchen complete with a pizza oven, it's the ultimate billionaire's backyard. 

Actress and reality star, Kristin Cavallari has put her Nashville home back on the market for the reduced price of $5 million (£4m). First listed at $7.9 million (£6.4m), the drop has come since announcing her divorce from the former professional football player, Jay Cutler. Sitting on eight-and-a-half acres within dense wood, the Mediterranean-inspired mansion regularly appeared as the backdrop for her reality show Very Cavallari.

Situated in the Melrose Arts District in West Hollywood, this home belongs to Patrick Schwarzenegger, who has put it on the market for $3.4 million (£2.8m). Having purchased it two-and-a-half years ago for $2.9 million (£2.4m), the actor has decided to part ways with the modern farmhouse. 

Outside, the terrace area has a stone fireplace with a mounted TV and a built-in barbeque, providing an ideal place to spend a summer's day. The swimming pool is surrounded by lush grass and towering hedges that stop any nosey neighbours in their tracks. 

Singer, songwriter and fashion designer, Pharrell Williams has listed his award-winning architectural home in the Hollywood Hills. Named the Skyline Residence, it was designed by architect Hagy Belzberg and is now up for sale at $12 million (£9.7m). Pharrell first bought the house just over five years ago for $7.1 million (£5.8m). 

The home is split into two, with the west side of the house designed to absorb the heat of the sun while the glass-walled east side opens to the back garden with a narrow strip of lawn and a swimming pool and spa. Living up to its name of the Skyline Residence, there are jaw-dropping views of both the city and the valley. 

At the beginning of May, Tesla CEO, Elon Musk announced in a tweet that he would be "selling almost all of his physical possessions", including his properties. Seeking 'freedom', the entrepreneur stuck true to his word and has listed all seven of his properties. 

In the days that followed, he listed two of his ultra-luxury homes, both in southern California. The first listing was this 16,000-square-foot home with seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a two-storey library, pool, tennis court, fruit orchard and much more. On the market for $30 million (£24m), Elon bought the property for $17 million (£13.8m) in 2013. 

By the middle of May, the billionaire had offered up five more properties for sale. On the market for $62.5 million (£50.7m), one package includes four properties all in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles. 

The homes are described on the listing as "a project for the big thinker, designed to showcase one of the best views in Los Angeles – from the city to the ocean and beyond". All within walking distance of one another, but not close enough to create an estate, it would require a creative buyer or developer with a little vision.

Part of the four-home bundle, Musk purchased this house at the end of January 2019 for $6.4 million (£5.2m). The two-storey home has just under 3,400 square feet of space with four bedrooms and five bathrooms. With its quaint exterior, it looks like it belongs in the rural countryside rather than LA's affluent Bel Air. 

The final house of Elon's to hit the market was this century-old property just south of San Francisco in the town of Hillsborough. Listed for $35 million (£28m), it has unobstructed bay views with 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Musk purchased the home in 2017 for $23.3 million (£18.9m). While this might appear to be the plan of a celebrity property flipper, this tech billionaire has more lofty motivations for shedding his property portfolio.

Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have put their first marital home on the market, which is in the Coldwater Canyon area of  celebrity hotspot Beverly Hills, for just shy of $14 million (£11.4m). The stars bought the 7,351-square-foot home in 2014 for around $10.2 million (£8.3m), no doubt attracted to its tucked-away location in the mountainous gated community of Hidden Valley.

Inside, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom home has dark hardwood floors throughout. The ground floor includes a living room with a traditional-style panelled fireplace, a step-up formal dining room and a huge white kitchen that has a mix of vintage and modern appliances, as well as a breakfast nook and a second family room. 

Upstairs, the home has four family bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and built-in wardrobes. On the lower level is the fifth guest bedroom along with a range of luxury amenities which include a temperature-controlled wine room, a gym, and a sauna, of course. 

Outside, the lush grounds span over just over half an acre and feature rolling lawns and weeping willows, adding to the picturesque scene. A stone terrace with an outdoor kitchen sits up near the house, next to the luxurious lagoon-style swimming pool and spa. We don't think this amazing house will be on the market for long; good news for Ashton and Mila, who are building a modern mega-mansion nearby.
